Manicure of the Moment

Daddy's Girl in a Frenzy.

Hello fellow polish nuts. Today it is a dark, grey day in Prescott, Arizona. A thunderstorm rolled in at 4:30 this morning and it has been deeply overcast and raining on and off all day. While the rain in needed and welcome, the humidity is making my hair expand into a puff ball of epic proportions and is making my polish take forever to cure. At least it didn't dissolve into a nasty bubbly mess. :D

Since it is a grey and dark day, I decided a little sparkle, a bit of shimmer and shine were just the ticket to brighten up my day. I applied two coats of Sinful Colors Daddy's Girl then topped it with two coats of Frenzy. I just applied the Frenzy on my tips on my left ring and right index. Then I added sparkly decals to my nails below the tips on those two nails and topped everything with Seche. I have a bit of shrinkage on my tips. That doesn't normally happen, but it has with Daddy's Girl. Oh vell. No biggie... I can live with it.

I did the best I could to get good pics and was surprised at how well purple came out in some of them. Purple is a bear to photograph. As is glitter. Especially when there isn't a ray of sunshine to be had, anywhere. VNL is visible in my pictures, but not in person.

I am trying to learn how to do a watermark kind of thing in Paint. Fail! lol Taken indoors no flash.

Indoors. No flash.

No flash.

With flash.

With flash.

This is the first time I have used Sinful Frenzy. The glitter is densely packed in the bottle but not so much on the nail. But it is pretty. Especially over purple. I believe that these two polishes were meant to go together.

Thank you for popping in. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble. :D
