Manicure of the Moment

Hello Ladies. Happy November! :D

It has been a few since I did my nails and posted. My last polish job lasted several days and then I was busy as a one legged man at an ass kicking contest and didn't have a lot of time to paint and photograph my nails. I finally had some time, today. Good thing, as my nails were looking a little rough. That Rimmel polish is pretty but it isn't the longest lasting stuff. :)

So, today's manicure is one of my successful, no brainer frankens. It is a mix of OPI Eiffel For This Color and OPI We'll Always Have Paris. More of the first then the second. It is a dark, ever so slightly warmed purple jelly with a hidden shimmer that shows in the sun. Two smooth coats make it opaque. A little shrinkage at the tips shows after Seche.

I took a lot of pictures and I am going to post a whole pile of them because I am kind of enamored of this colour. So, buckle up. Or run for the hills. lol Pics taken indoors, out in direct sun and in shade.

Told you so. ^^  Pics are, as always, clickable if you are so inclined.

Okay, that is about all I have, right now. Except for a question. It is November or May? "Cause I have to tell you, it is freakishly warm. We are talking 75 degrees. It is normally a lot cooler around here, this time of year.

To answer M Hunt's questions: I am just a fan of polish but if pinned down I would have to admit that my all time fave is OPI. I also love China Glaze and Finger Paints. I have a small but growing collection collection of colours that range from somewhat spendy to .99. Of the lower priced brands, I really like Sinful Colors. I have found beautiful colours and formulas at all price ranges.

I usually do my nails about every three days, or so. Or when my current paint job starts to fail, sooner or later. Or, I get to it when I have time. lol

Thank you for popping in. Have a lovely evening and may your polish never bubble. :D
