Manicure of the Moment

Hello gentle readers. I hope that those of you who are party animals are sufficiently recovered from your hangovers, by now.

No hangover, here. I sat with hubbs on the sofa, watched Kathy Griffin torment Anderson Cooper on CNN  until the ball dropped in NYC, then I hit the sack and crashed. I was snoring like a sawmill well before Midnight, local time.

Just my kind of NYE festivities. :D

I decided that yesterday's mani, while great for that day, wasn't making me very happy today so I got at it and changed it. Removal wasn't bad. I was expecting much worse. Sinful Colors Secret Admirer was actually an easy clean off. Imagine that.

Today I applied Color Club Uptown Girl (anyone have that song running through your head, yet?) to my nails. Two coats, creamy, dreamy, slightly greyed dark lavender creme. A joy to apply, easy to cleanup. (What little I had to do.) I topped it with a coat of Seche Vite. I thought about doing Konad, but changed my mind. I am kind of enjoying this on it's own. I might go ahead and stamp it, tomorrow. I have a thought of doing bows and dots, maybe. We'll see.

These photographs were taken in late afternoon sun with a ton of snow around, bouncing the light like crazy. It was 26 degrees and I was standing out on my little decony, bare feet in slippers, freezing solid to get these pictures. It was nice to have sun for nail pics, for a change. Snow or no.

This polish is part of Color Club's Rebel Debutante collection. I snagged these polishes as Ross for less than eight clams just before Christmas. I am really enjoying this brand of polish and definitely want more.

Thank you so much for popping in. Have a great evening and may your polish never bubble.
