Manicure of the Moment

Hello gentle readers. I'm baaaaack! I went and hiked for about four miles out at the lake and sure enough, my toe polish was wrecked. No big. I'll fix it when I am ready to change my manicure.

Tonight I have a true beauty to share with you. This is Nubar Reclaim. I know that a lot of you already own this polish and know full well just how beautiful and special it is. But I am still going to show pictures and gush my damn fool head off. :D

Medium green base with linear holographic effect. This is one coat of Nubar Reclaim. One. Coat! kiddies. I got the first coat on and was about to go back and apply a second and I stopped and took a good look at my nails and I realized that another coat wasn't really necessary. I was thrilled with they way this looked just as it was. I topped it with a coat of Poshe`.

Look at that linear holo deliciousness.

 Are you drooling, yet?

Have you shorted out your keyboard, yet?

Remember, this is one coat. Now, I won't sit here and blow smoke up your ass. While this is opaque, there is a little VNL if I hold my hand up and view my nails in certain light. But it is opaque in most indoor light and outdoors in the sun. And that is good enough for me. :)

I topped this with Poshe` topcoat. I wondered if topcoat would dull the holo. Doesn't seem to have. Funny thing is, when I first applied the topcoat, the holo did look a bit scattered. Then as it dried, all the yummy rainbow goodness had returned. Weird, huh?

 *sigh* I am in love.

Nubar Reclaim is about as close to perfect as a polish formula can get. It applies smoothly, flowing off the round, full brush and sits right down where you put it. It is fluid but not runny, it is amenable to being worked if needed to get it just the way you want it to be. Cleanup is effortless. I had a little, I will admit. I was so over messing with my nails after my earlier mani/pedi fiasco that I was hurrying and got a little careless. I am not blaming the polish, it was entirely my application.

I don't know how long this mani will last. It is only three total coats and pretty thin so I am not expecting it to last a long time. But I will enjoy every moment this stunner is on my nails. :)

So, there you have it. Heaven in a little glass bottle. If you love green and you love holo, I heartily recommend this polish. I am confident you would love it as much as I do. I bought my bottle from Amazon. You can also buy it from the Nubar website. If you are an avid e-bayer, I imagine it may be available there, as well.

Do you own Reclaim? Or are you considering grabbing it?

Thank you so much for popping in. Have a great night and may your polish never bubble.
