On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Hello gentle readers. How is your midweek?

Today is Pink Wednesday and I have chosen to wear Sinful Colors Pink Forever. A dark carnation pink creme. I applied two coats and topped it with Seche Vite.

I had to take photographs in partial sun and high wind gusts. Add my camera's love of washing out pinks and well.... lol But I did the best I could. These photographs are, as always clickable to make big, if you wish.

This polish is actually a good bot darker, more intense than these pictures show. Think OPI's I'm India the Mood for Love than this paler, more bubblegum misrepresentation. My camera really likes to wash out pink. I need to go rob a bank and get just enough money for a new camera.:P

This is a creme, the formula is thick, slightly stringy. It self levels fairly well but could be better. Two coats got it opaque. The first coat is a little streaky. I had a little streaky-ness after the second but my topcoat melted and made it all nice and silky smooth. I had a little bubbling but I am not going to blame the polish. We have storms rolling in and high winds (still!!!!! Gah!) and I think that the atmospheric weirdness is causing my polish to misbehave, lately. Seche Vite smoothed out the surviving bubbles. All in all, I like the polish. The colour is pretty and the formula, while slightly bratty isn't too difficult. It certainly doesn't put me off.

I may or may not decide to stamp this later. We'll see what kind of mood I am in. I am a spontaneous stamper. I'll be perfectly happy with a manicure then I'll go downstairs to use my bathroom, get something out of my room or something and suddenly get a wild hair up my ass to stamp my nails and I will get my stuff out and go for it.  So, maybe, maybe not. :D

Do you own Sinful Colors Pink Forever? Do you love it? Hate it?

Does wind make you a little crazy like it does me?

For all of my bloggy buddies in the path of storms and encroaching flood waters, stay safe.

Thank you all so much for popping in. Have a terrific day and may your polish never bubble.
