Colour Series ~ Glitter Day Four: OPI Show It and Glow It

Hello gentle readers.

I seem to be getting a later start, today. I spent part of my morning re swatching and shooting three new polishes for this series. I just wasn't altogether happy with my first choices and how they came out, so I changed it up. I am hoping that the new shots are good... I had trouble with my camera, had to do a battery change and it wasn't until I got nearly finished that I realized that my camera had dumped all of my settings. Gah! Stoopid camera! Stoopid me for not seeing the problem... :P

Okay. 'Nuff of that. Time for the good stuff. OPI Show It and Glow It from last year's Burlesque Holiday Collection. Sooo Pwetty! This is OPI Sparkle-Icious's purple little sister. A clear jelly base is packed with tiny, square multi coloured glitter. Colours of purple, fuchsia, gold, a little blue. This polish paves the nails in sparkle, shine and scintillation. I applied three coats and topped it with Poshe`.

I am posting a couple more pictures of this one... I just couldn't narrow the number down any more than I did. These are clickable for biggage and I suggest it. :D

OPI Show It and Glow It, like it's sister polish Sparkle-Icious is smooth, easy to apply and deliciously sparkly. Dry time is quick and top coat just boosts the gorgeous all that much more. I very much love OPI's glitter formula. They do it right. So very, very right.

Do you own this lovely? Please share your feelings about this polish, if you care to.

Thank you so much for popping in. Have a terrific day, kids and may your polish never bubble.

  1. It looks gorgeous... however I always step away from glitters -- because they're a pain in the butt to take off. LOL

  3. Thank you, Abby. :)

Glitter is a pain but using cotton, acetone and foil makes getting it off faster, easier and far less painful. :D
