China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara

Hello gentle readers.

Are you in full holiday freak out mode? Things here are all smooth and under control. I just have some grocery shopping and a little last minute present buying to finish up and it's all good.

Today I have a lovely polish from the China Glaze Eye Candy collection. This is Lorelei's Tiara. What a stunner this little bottle of sparkly stuff is. A clear base enfolds densely packed tiny silver square glitter and medium sized blue round glitter sequins. This is a sparkling, dancing treat on my nails. Another silver with which I have fallen in love. I am liking silver polish so much thatf I am not careful, I am going to start buying and wearing white metal jewelry. This swatch is two coats. There is three on my middle, since I banged and dented that one right before I took photos and one coat over Wet-N-Wild Black Creme on my index. All topped with top coat. I took these photos under my OttLight.

This is lovely, smooth and so. easy. to get a perfect, opaque finish in two coats. This polish dries quickly and is surprisingly smooth, even before top coat. I am really happy with this polish.

Did you grab any of these polishes? Are you on glitter overload?

Thank you so much for popping in. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble.

  1. I got this one, too, and will be wearing it after xmas (maybe for New Year's Eve) as I'm still wearing lots of red, green, and gold now.  I'm still maxxing out on glitter and haven't hit overload yet!  Ha!  So, what will you be wearing for New Year's Eve?

  2. This is the one Eye Candy color that's really calling my name (although Love Marilyn was gorgeous too, but it's too much like OPI Gettin' Miss Piggy With It, which I already have). I love the silver and blue together, it's so icy and wintry.

  4. I have, and LOVE, this one! I defiantly like it best on it own. I wore it as an accent nail, with CG First Mate on the rest of my nails. So pretty!

  6. The Fingerpaints Special Effects collection is at the Deer Valley Sally Beauty and it's out on display and she said she didn't know why they got gobs and gobs of them.  LOL, I don't know how many that actually is but  I thought you might want to know they've hit Arizona Sallys.

  9. This one is a beauty and I love it. I didn't get Getting Miss Piggy With It so this is a nice substitute. :)

  11. I like this one on it's own, as well. It gets opaque so easily and is so smooth and glistens like nobody's business. :)

  13. Good to know. I will be out and about tomorrow, again and will pop in to see if it landed at my Sally's, yet. This one, up here in Prescott can be a little funny about when or if they put out collections. Sometimes they get gobs of them, others, one and that's it and if you don't get in, that moment, you miss out. That happened with the Color Club Sally's exclusive, here. One collection. I was too late.

  14. I hope that you find your mind, soon. :D

I am hoping to find the Special Effects, soon. My Sally's can be a little strange about collections that they order. I think that the local district manager needs to be slapped around for a while. lol  Lorelei's Tiara is widely available, so you can certainly still get it, if you are really craving on it. :)

Thank you so much and Happy Holidays right back atcha! :D
