Sinful Colors Hazard: Swatch and Review

Hello gentle readers.

If you received a warning when you clicked on my blog, yesterday, fear not. I have fixed the problem and all is well. I removed the content from another site and the warning was lifted. So please come on back. It's safe. :D

Okay, moving on.

Today I have a swatch of Sinful Colors Hazard. Named, I assume such because this is a bright, almost neon orange creme. This polish is very bright and shiny. I applied three coats and top coat for this swatch.

Sinful Colors Hazard is pretty but boy... The formula on this polish isn't the most pleasant. I had some difficulties with it but I believe that since this swatch was done at the end of a long session, it was partly my fault. I applied this over a base coat that was behaving like a butt by the time I got to this swatch. I'll probably give this another throw before I consign it to the "this is a  dotting polish only bin". I do love this for dotting. :) Application was a bit of a challenge. It was stupid streaky on the first coat and pulled some bald spots. I needed three coats to get this one smooth and presentable enough to photograph. I should have tried again but honestly, I was over it. By the time I got to this polish, I had swatched an entire collection and my fingers were suffering serious swatching fatigue and were crying for a break.

So, what I am saying is that this stuff may not be the butt head it was, that day so don't let this scare you off if you are looking for a pretty, creamy, very bright orange polish at a nice price. I bought mine at my local Walgreen's.

Okay, must run. I need another coffee and my brekkie. Thank you so much for popping in. Have yourselves a faaaaabulous day and may your polish never bubble.

  10. I say its cheap polish that causes problems in application!  I didn't get the virus message-glad you figured out what was causing that!  I've tried to tell people about it before and they always try to blame blogger-stupid people!  HAHA!

  11. Yeah, don't blame Blogger... Hackers are jerkfaces and they will mess with shit. Which messes with other shit. If you get a warning, you have to click through, read the details then remove the offending content. It doesn't really have anything to do with Blogger.

Sometimes, it is cheap polish, but not always. Sinful Colors usually behaves beautifully for me but even "higher end" polishes act like that during certain weather conditions. I have had OPI and China Glaze do the same thing. :)

  14. You should be able to find this one, it is core line, if I am not mistaken and I keep seeing it in displays, as well. :)

  15. Oh, girls... If you only knew. lol I have so much trouble finding things in this Podunk town. I never did get certain collections I searched and searched for. Drives me crazy! I have so few options, if it doesn't show up, I am screwed. :(

  16. I feel your pain. Really. There are so many brands I can't get here. Essies are very limited. Orly is scarce. OPI and Kleancolor don't exist. Plus, when the sole Sally's here orders collections, like the Finger Paints flakies for instance, they only order half of the polishes in the collection, and usually not even the good ones. It's terrible, I am so thankful for online shopping!!

  17. My Sally's does better, thank goodness. And, I have a connection on the inside, a fellow polish addict who will hook me up, set aside polishes and collections for me. :D I also have to order OPI and other such brands online. We don't even have an Ulta here. We had a tiny Sephora (a few displays and a couple of tables of better brands) in our local JC Penny. It wasn't much, but it was better than nothing then last year, they took it out. *sob*

  18. Other than Sally's, I get to go to.... Walmart! Haha. I've never even SEEN an Ulta, and the closest Sephora and other such stores require a 1 1/2 hour drive. :( I'm convinced that everyone in the Midwest is legally required to be a neglected redneck with no idea what the word "acetone" even means or something! =P We have all the big stores to buy animal supplies, or sports equipment, shops for shoes, even, but nothing for nails.

  19. I feel your pain. To get to Ulta or Sephora, I have to drive to the Phoenix Metro area. *sigh* It sucks. You know who makes these idiotic decisions, don't you? Men. Men who don't give a rat's ass about makeup or nails or other pretty girl stuff. It is all about formulas and numbers and math and bullshit of the sort. And it sucks.

I really need to move to a city. A big, bustling, full of fab shopping city. Away from idiotic, bean counting, bad decision making men who hate girls who live in Podunkville towns. :P

  24. Between that and the invention of the bra, I think men just like to make our lives hell! =P
