China Glaze Man Hunt and I'm Not Lion

Hello gentle readers.

Gah!!! Up to my eyes. on top of everything else I have to do, MIL had a bit of a medical crisis; not major but she needed some attention and care and that threw a bit of a monkey wrench into my usual routine. Not that I begrudge her the time. Not at all. She is fine, thankfully. And now things on my end can return to normal. Good thing... I have some swatching to do. I finally found some Summer Color Club at Ross and I want to get it swatched and up before Summer is over.

Today I am wrapping up my China Glaze On Safari Collection with Man Hunt and I'm Not Lion. Arguably my two favorites from this collection, Man Hunt is a smooth, gorgeous royal blue and I'm Not Lion is a silvery version of I Herd That.

Man Hunt. Not unusual or different, to be sure but it is beautiful, rich and cool. The jelly texture gives this a delicious squish but it is pigmented and at two coats, perfectly smooth and opaque. Application was easy and pleasant. this polish goes on a tad streaky on the first coat but the second leaves behind it perfection. Dry time is pretty good.

I'm Not Lion is the silvery sister to I Herd That. The tiny glitter is silver with holo and multicoloured sparks and flashes. This is beautiful for layering and it can also be worn on it's own. This swatch is one coat topping Man Hunt. The formula on this baby is just as lovely as it's sister glitter. Dry time is quick, tho it needs top coat to be completely shiny, sparkly and smooth. I like Gelous then Seche Vite, these two together make the glitters in this collection as smooth as glass.

So, there you have it. Finally. The China Glaze On Safari Collection. I hope that you enjoyed seeing this collection as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these pretty polishes, which ones you have acquired, if you like them. Please comment and share. And don't forget to let the Disqus widget load, or I won't see your comment. And I love to see your comments!

Thank you so much for popping in and reading. Have a terrific day and may your polish never bubble.
