China Glaze Bend Over Backwards: Swatch and Review and... A surprise Sneak Peek of Coming Attractions

Hello gentle readers.

Here is another Cirque Du Soleil Collection polish. Bend Over Backwards is a red leaning rusty orange shimmer. When I survey this one, I do it with my head on one side. Assess. Contemplate. Be puzzled by it. Puzzled because I am oddly drawn to it, yet not. I don't know what I feel about this one.

I make a lot of decisions about what polishes I like or not by how I feel about them. Polish is like music or art, it touches me on that same level.

Yeah... I know. Weird.

This swatch is two coats and top coat. I believe I used Gelous when I swatched this collection as I was running low on Seche Vite.

The formula on this one is a little... Weird. (I know... I am using weird. A lot. Deal with it. 8)) It is fluid yet oddly thick, smooth enough, easy to control, it doesn't run or pool, streak or drag. It is a bit bubble prone, tho. I find that I often get bubbles when I work with polishes of this ilk. This polish is a tad brushstroke-y, a teeny bit frosty, perhaps, tho not obnoxiously so. Dry time is really good.

So, what do you think of China Glaze Bend Over Backwards? Is a rusty red shimmah to your taste or is is as puzzling to you as it is to me? I gotta tell ya, my head is still on the side. I think my brow is furrowed, as well.

Say, would you like a sneak peek of the new for 2013 Color Club Halo Hues? Feast your eyeballs. Prepare to wipe the drool off of your chin.

I am in the throes of editing the photographs, now. The miniseries will begin very soon. I also have China Glaze Glitz and Pieces in the pipeline as well as some of the OPI Maria Carey polishes, including the Liquid Sand polishes.

Okay, I must run. Thank you so much for popping in and reading and hanging out. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble.
