Hello gentle readers.
So... You ever meet a polish that you would love to take out back and bitch slap because it drove. you. that. crazy?
China Glaze Pink-Ie Promise is one of those polishes, for me. This polish is evil. Evil, I say! Don't let it fool you. That sugar sweet almost Pepto Bismol pink creme is a nightmare. I had to swatch this polish three times. Three. Times. And the third attempt still looks like forty miles of bad road. This polish is thick, it streaks, it drags if you dare even try to over stroke it, it runs, it flooded my cuticles then shattered and got choppy on the edges when I did cleanup. Dry time? I don't know. I didn't leave it on long enough to give it a chance to dry. I just wanted it off, as soon as I shot these photographs.
This swatch is two coats and Seche Vite. Thank heaven for Seche Vite. It melted and smoothed this polish out so that it doesn't look too heinous in these photographs.
Bleargh! I am so disappointed in this polish. Maybe a dose of thinner will help it behave better? I don't know and honestly, I am not inclined at this point to even try. I'm sorry but I can't recommend this polish. If I knew then what I know now, I would have left this one behind in the store.
Do you own this polish? If so, did it behave better for you than it did for me?
Thank you for dropping by and reading. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble.
