Hello gentle readers.
China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around is a milky white creme-gel hybrid with a silvery white shimmer. This polish is so pretty and sweet. It looks like royal icing cookie glaze sprinkled with super fine sugar.
This swatch is four coats and Seche Vite.
Formula. Can we talk? This polish is weird... Kind of grainy, a little snotty. It was very streaky and thin on the first coat, subsequent coats were better, but this stuff is pretty translucent, I needed four coats for full opacity. Surprisingly, in spite of the sheer number of coats required, with Seche Vite, it was drying pretty well, by the time I had taken these photographs and was ready to remove it and move on. I think that this would be pretty layered over a white creme. I would like to try it over pink, yellow, lilac, lavender, too. But I would go crazy if I had to do all of my nails in four. coats of just this polish.
Have you picked up China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around? What do you think of it?
Thank you so much for popping in and reading. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble.
