Hello gentle readers.
Happy Monday and... Who is naming these polishes? China Glaze Tart-y For the Party from the Spring Avant Garden Collection is a darling lilac lilac creme. Pretty, wearable, not unusual but perfect for this time of year.
This swatch is two coats, three on my pinkie, to cover the ridges, all topped with Seche Vite.
The formula on this one is a tad thin and watery, you have to run to stay ahead of it, otherwise, it isn't too troublesome. I didn't have any streaking, dragging or bubbling. It did, oddly, try to gunk up on the neck of the bottle... What was that about? Maybe it was my fault? Maybe. Dry time is good.
Honestly, while this is a very pretty lilac creme, there are tons and tons of pretty lilac creme polishes out there, many with much better formulas. If you have a great lilac or two or can get some, you can skip this one. If you get this one, it isn't a bad polish, just a little temperamental.
Thank you so much for popping in and reading. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble.
