OPI Chic From Ears to Tail: Review and Photographs

Hello gentle readers.

OPI Chic from Ears to Tail is part of the Couture de Minnie Collection from OPI. This sweet bubble gum pink creme has a barely visible silver shimmer running through it. I love a great pink polish and this is a great pink polish.

The formula on OPI Chic From Ears to Tail is very nice. It is smooth and silky, that nearly invisible silver shimmer adds a soothing effect to what can often be a beautiful but temperamental type of of polish. Application of this polish is easy and smooth, it likes to go on in thin coats, too thick and you can run into trouble with bubbles. The first coat was streaky, but by the second coat, things were looking very nice, indeed but still just a tiny bit streaky and my demon ridges were still making themselves very much a visible presence. A quick third coat gave me a smooth perfectly opaque finish. I didn't have a great deal of cleanup with this polish, mostly just fussbudget refining. Dry time is pretty good, it was very good with my usual Seche Vite. I got a solid four days of wear out of this pretty stuff.

I love OPI Chic From Ears to Tail. If you are on the lookout for a soft, sweet pink creme with a nice formula and wear, this is a great choice. This polish is limited edition and is available where you can buy OPI polish, now. Some retailers to check out would be local salons, JC Penny salons and Ulta stores.

What do you think of OPI Chic From Ears to Tail? Have you picked it up? Do you plan to? Please do tell.

Thank you so much for popping in and reading. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble.

  1. Its a pretty pink! I like that it has some fine silver shimmer in it too. Makes it a bit different from your normal creme pink :)

  3. It is pretty! It's the funniest thing, the shimmer doesn't really show but it makes such a difference in the polish. :)

  7. As I said in my review, my first coat was streaky, the second smoothed it out and the third, I had an even, opaque, streak free finish.

Apply this polish with plenty on the brush but not too thick coats. Work smoothly and swiftly with each coat and give it a few minutes between coats but you don't have to wait for it to dry completely. The top coat you use can help further smooth the finish, as well. I use Seche Vite, which melts and smooths polish as it is applied.

Everyone can have a different experience with nail polish. This particular polish didn't give me any trouble but I do know that some people did have difficulty with it. As with all products, your mileage may vary.

Thank you for reading and I hope I was able to help, a little.
