Orly Sparking Garbage: Swatch and Review

Hello gentle readers.

I have wanted the polish featured today since it was first released. I finally got around to picking it up a couple of weeks ago and I am so glad that I did. Orly Sparkling Garbage is a gorgeous fine holo glitter topper in shades of green and blue with sparks of yellow, orange, red, even pink. So sparkly and beautiful. And the name is irresistible. I don't have any of the other polishes from the Spring collection but I may still hunt a few down and pick them up. Tho the Fall collection is due to release pretty soon and I have seen pictures of it and oh, boy, is it ever pretty! Maybe I'll just hold off. Save my money.

Since talk of Fall is beginning to hit the blogs here and there, I decided to layer Orly Sparkling Garbage over a Fall polish. I chose Orly Lucky Duck, a beautiful, rich mallard green crelly with a simply gorgeous formula. Very Fall. This swatch is one coat of Sparkling Garbage over Lucky Duck topped with Seche Vite. Photos were snapped outside in the sun.

Curse my wretched, holo eating camera!

Orly Sparkling Garbage applies beautifully and it dries in very good time. Top coat gives maximum sparkle and shine and that beautiful smooth, glossy finish that I love so well. Top coat doesn't dull the holo-licious quality even a tiny bit.

Do you own Orly Sparkling Garbage? Do you love it? What different colours have you layered it over? Please do tell. If you don't yet have it, I found my bottle on Amazon and last time I went sifting for polish, I do believe I saw a listing for Lucky Duck, as well.

Are you beginning to look forward to Autumn as much as I am? Here in my part of the good old U. S. of A. we have a whole lot of Summer to go, but a girl can dream, can't she? Thank you so much for popping in and reading and have a terrific day!
