OPI Peace and Love and OPI: Swatch and Review

Hello gentle readers.

One of the new OPI San Francisco Collection for Fall 2013 polishes I picked up is Peace and Love and OPI, a beautiful oil slick grey/green/pink multichrome with a very fine silvery shimmer running through it. Seriously pretty stuff. I did my best with pictures but as with polishes like this, my photos don't do it justice, you  really have to see this in person.

This swatch is two coats and Seche Vite.

OPI Peace and Love and OPI has a lovely formula, it is smooth and easy to apply and control. The polish flows off the brush, sits down where it is placed, it doesn't run or pool or flood my cuticles then it smooths up the nail without streaking, dragging or bubbling. This is perfect and opaque in two easy coats. The finish is a little bit brushstroke-y, top coat smooths it out somewhat. Dry time is very good on this polish.

What do you think of OPI Peace and Love and OPI? Isn't it beautiful? Have you picked this polish up, yet? Are you planning to? If you are thinking that it needs to be a part of your polish family, the OPI San Francisco Collection is available in salons and retailers that sell OPI, now.

I have a giveaway running on my Facebook page for a four bottle mini set of OPI San Francisco polishes, one of which is this lovely polish. If you would like to enter, click here, click the picture in the sidebar announcement or my Facebook social media button. My giveaway post is pinned to the top of my page. Entry is fast and easy. Due to shipping restrictions on nail polish this giveaway is open to U.S. residents.

Thank you so much for dropping in and reading. Have a great day.

Essie For the Twill of it is a near dupe. I'll do a comparison post, soon. :)

  3. Yup, was just going to say that For the Twill of It looks identical. Just picked that one up today. So pretty. Love the dimension in this polish. Different looks at different angles.

  5. Thank you so much. Duochromes can be difficult to photograph and I am never sure of my pictures. LOL

After I do a review of the Essie, I'll do a comparison post. They are so similar, nearly dupes!
