OPI Wharf! Wharf! Wharf!

Hello gentle readers.

OPI Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is a beautiful navy blue creme Liquid Sand polish. Deep and rich and beautiful and so flattering.

This swatch is two coats over base coat.

The formula on OPI Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is beautiful. It is a little thinner than some other Liquid Sand polishes I have used but it isn't runny, it doesn't flood or run or pool on the edges of my nails, there is no streaking, dragging or pulling or bubbling. Dry time is pretty good, too. Be careful about removal. If you melt this and get it on your skin, it can Smurf you. This did stain me a little. It wasn't bad and it wore off very quickly. Just be careful.

What do you think of OPI Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! Do you own it? Think that you might like to? It's available where you buy OPI, places like Ulta, JC Penney salons and so forth.

Thank you so much for popping in and reading and have a great day!

  1. I can't get into the liquid sand line! To me it looks like what my nails would be if I accidentally messed them up after a manicure. I always jump on the bandwagon late though so watch, in a few months I'll be all over it :P

  3. I don't normally go for trendy finishes like crackles and magnetic but the Liquid Sand just grabbed on to me. I love it. OPI does this particular finish extremely well. :)

  5. Hee! Hee! Hey, we all have our own taste about things. A lot pf people adored crackle and magnetic and I had no use for them.

The first time I tried Liquid Sand, I didn't like it, either. I swatched some minis and I didn't let them dry properly before photographing and assessing them and I was far from impressed. After some time, I gave them another chance, applied, let them dry properly and fell in love.

Maybe get a mini, do a mani and see what you think. If you love it, get a full size, if you hate it, you're not out much. :D

  6. Thanks for the tips about removing this one. Smurf hands terrify me!

  7. I was surprised that I would like this texture polish. I have on a purple from Wet n Wild's newest collection Camo Girl...or something like that. LOL On the bright side, your mani is PERFECT!!!

  9. This one will stain a little, most intensely pigmented blue polishes do, happily, a couple of hand washings make it go away, as long as you don't go too crazy. :)
