OPI Miss You-Niverse: Swatch and Review

Hello gentle readers.

I hope that everyone who celebrates had a beautiful and happy Christmas.

Today I have another stunning Polish from the OPI Miss Universe Collection. This is Miss You-Niverse. One of the things I love about OPI is the goofy names they give their polishes. Seriously. I love them. Sometimes, I buy polishes simply because of the names. Truth. In this case, I bought this polish because it's gorgeous and because it was part of this set.

And because it's freaking gorgeous.

OPI Miss You-Niverse is a dense, rich, smoky, deep purple creme. This swatch is two coats and topped with Seche Vite.

While this polish is stunning, the formula is, like some pageant beauties, a teensy touch temperamental. I found, when applying this, it was almost a one coat wonder. Almost. It was a little streaky in spots and it pulled and dragged a little a couple of times. A second coat leveled and smoothed everything to perfection, tho. This isn't a bad polish, it just wants a steady, sure hand and a touch of cozening. If you are willing to sweeten it along a little, it will reward you with the finish you see in my photographs. For that colour, that shine, that finish, I'm okay with a little high maintenance hi jinks.

What do you think of OPI Miss You-Niverse? Isn't she stunning?

Thank you so much for popping in and reading and have a great day.
