Mirabella Myth Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow

**press sample** **affiliate links**

Whether you are looking for a stand alone eye colour or a beautiful creme colour base to amp up powder eye shadows, Mirabella Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow in Myth $29.00 may be just the ticket. Packaged in a small, heavy glass jar with a shiny gold lid with Faerie in pink printed on top. The packaging feels and looks luxe.

Open the lid, there is a plastic slip cover that needs to be removed. The eye shadow is a spongy, bouncy disk that, when touched with a finger or brush releases the soft, creamy colour. This colour can be applied with the finger or a flat shader brush for an intensely pigmented look or with a softer, fluffier brush and blended out for a more diffused effect. Myth can be worn alone or under and along with powder eye shadows. Tho I haven't tried using this shadow as a liner, yet I have seen it done and the effect was stunning.

Application is smooth and very easy. Unlike other creme shadows I own, this one is very lightweight and silky. Myth gives a little time to work with it, get it into place just where I want it then it sets to a powder finish and doesn't budge. I apply it over primer, as I do all eye shadows and I get all day wear with no creasing or fading.

This beautiful, smooth, copper brown shadow is metallic with a bronze shimmer. It is warm and glowing and very flattering. This shadow looks great even on my more mature eyelids.

This is Myth on my lids, along with shadows from the Urban Decay Naked in the Run palette. L'Oreal Infallible cream liner in Espresso and Lancome Grandiose mascara.

I truly like this eye shadow. I wasn't sure that I would... I am not the biggest fan of creme eye shadows. I like the idea of them but I buy them, swatch them, play with them a little, feel meh about them and they languish in my makeup case. This one is an exception. I am actually reaching for it and it is getting regular play. Maybe it is true, in the case of creme eye shadows... You get what you pay for. There is a huge difference in texture, pigmentation, colour payoff and wear between this shadow and the creme shadows I have purchased at the drugstore. Not to be a snob but there really is no comparison. This creme shadow far eclipses any more affordable brand creme shadow I have purchased. It is just that good.

If you would like Mirabella Myth Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow, you can find it here. The beautiful Faerie Collection is available, here.

Have you tried Mirabella Myth Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow or any other Mirabella products? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

K B Shimmer Winter Collection Polishes: Swatches and Review

**press sample** **affiliate links**

Winter is in full swing and now is the perfect time to indulge our nails in polishes from the K B Shimmer Winter Collection!

I have four beautiful polishes to share with you, today. Three crelly/glitter mix and one topper. All swatches are topped with K B Shimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat

First up we have:

Let's Sleigh Together. This pale grey crelly is swimming with a beautiful glitter mix comprised of green, navy and pale mint hex, blueberry circles and a holographic micro glitter for extra sparkle. This is two coats.

Next in line is:

Mauve On Over. Rosy mauve crelly with a bright mix of Orange, navy and aqua hex glitter. K B Shimmer modeled this shade on the Pantone Fall/Winter 2014 colour Mauve Mist. This beautiful polish is going to be gorgeous now and right into the Spring and Summer!  This swatch is two coats.

The third polish in this lineup is:

Snow Way! This cool sky blue crelly is packed with matte white glitter pieces and a silver white micro glitter to evoke the sparkle of the sun on the surface of a new fallen snow field. This beautiful pastel and white polish is perfect now and would be a refreshing, cooling treat come the Dog Days ahead. This swatch is three coats.

And finally:

Pine - ing for Yule. This distinctly Christmas topper is a mix of micro sparkle, tiny silver holo circles, green triangles and red stars. This is one coat over white, red, green and silver base.

The formula on Let's Sleigh Together, Mauve on Over and Snow Way! are lovely, fluid and easy to handle. Application was smooth and trouble free, there was no running, pooling, dragging or bubbling. The glitter spread easily and I didn't have to coax it. Pine - ing for Yule was a bit of a pain in my booty. I had to fish and place all of the pieces on my nails. While I expect a certain amount of fishing, having to do all of the pieces, all nails can be a bit time consuming. But it is danged pretty, if a bother.

Dry time is pretty good on all of these polishes. Even better with K B Shimmer Clearly on Top Quick Dry Top Coat. This top coat is still in the test drive phase for me but so far, I think I like it. It applies smoothly, sets almost instantly, dries swiftly and renders a glossy finish. I need more time to fully asses what I really think but so far... I'll do a full review, soon.

What do you think of these four beautiful polishes? See anything you like? If you are interested in buying any one of these or any beautiful K B Shimmer nail polishhand care or handmade bath and body goodies visit and shop and treat yourself.

New Year's Eve Ready with Mirabella

**press sample** **affiliate links**

Can you believe that 2014 is almost over? This year flew by, fast! In just a few short days, we will be bidding goodbye to 2014 and ringing in a bright New Year. My husband and I, wild party animals that we are, like to spend a quiet New Year's Eve together. Dinner, popcorn, a great movie or two, then grab the remote and flip through the TV channels, watching Kathy Griffin drive Anderson Cooper out of his skull and the ball drop in Times Square. Sometimes, we watch various objects drop as Midnight strikes across the country and toast one another at midnight, he with his Coke, I with my Crystal Light. Or... We're both flaked out, snoring by the time the New Year begins.

Told you. Wild party animals, we.

Whether you are going out for a night of hardcore partying, making the rounds with family and friends or spending the evening with that special someone, Mirabella has what you need to look and feel your beautiful best on New Year's Eve and well in to the New Year.

I favor a more neutral makeup look, most of the time. Now, neutral doesn't have to mean boring. I used products from the Mirabella Faerie Collection to give my New Year's Eve makeup look a touch of shimmer, a bit of glow.

Some of the beautiful products I used to create my look are the Swirling Pearl Brilliant Mineral Highlighting PowderMyth Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow, Luminosity Colour Luxe Lip Gloss and the Gossamer Colour Luxe Lip Gloss.

This is a typical evening look for me. Neutral, soft, with some shimmer on my eyes, lots of mascara, and a glow on my cheekbones.

On my eyes is the Myth Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow along with other shadows to complete my eye look. on my cheekbones, to catch the light and give me a soft glow is the Swirling Pearl Brilliant Mineral Highlighting Powder. On my lips is Colour Luxe Lip Gloss in Gossamer, a soft, wearable pink with a beautiful shimmer.

If I want to punch it up a little, add a bit of drama and glamour, a quick lippie change takes my look from soft and gentle to classic evening.

All I did was apply a great red lippie then I topped it with Mirabella Colour Luxe Lip Gloss in Luminosity. This beautiful translucent gold shimmer gloss is the perfect way to add sparkle and gorgeous shine to a bright or bold lip colour.

My hairstyle is also easy, yet made special with a simple, sparkly touch. I used a one inch barrel curling iron to make large pipe curls all through my hair. After the curls cooled, I gently ran my fingers through my hair to break up the curls then gently brushed it to smooth. I gathered the top portion into a half-up, gave it a little twist in the back, letting the tail curl around then anchored it with a sparkly hair pin. A little hairspray to keep things in place and done. Kind of quiet and ladylike in the front...

Party in the back. #sorrynotsorry One of these days, I am going to solve my crazy lighting issues and maybe my photographs will be a bit more consistent!

My earrings are part of the Stargirl Ear Adornment Set from Bauble Bar.

What do you like to do to get New Year's Eve ready? Do you have a special makeup look that you like to do? Do you lay on the sparkle and high watt shine? Go classic and cool? Punch up the bright and bold? Have you tried Mirabella? Think that you might? Mirabella offers high quality, cruelty free beauty worldwide. Christmas Eve Nail Art

Easy. Bright. Festive and fun. That is my kind of nail art.

I used new and polishes from my stash. The base is China Glaze I'd Melt For You, the tree is OPI Christmas Gone Plaid, as are the green dots. The red dots are OPI Fashion a Bow. The gold is OPI Glitzerland. The tree topper is a sequin from OPI I Snow You Love Me. Accent nail is China Glaze Party Hearty. That is one of the best Christmas glitter mixes, ever. I love that polish.

All is topped with Seche Vite, of course.

Did you do a special manicure for the holiday? Feel free to drop a link to your post or post a pic of it in your comment. I'd love to see it!

I want to take a moment to wish all of my beautiful gentle readers a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, whatever you celebrate! If you choose not to celebrate any specific holiday, I hope that you are having a great day.

Urban Decay Vice 3 Eye Shadow Palette

**affiliate links**

Have you snapped up the Urban Decay Vice 3 Eye Shadow Palette yet? This third instillation in the wildly popular Urban Decay Vice eye shadow palette series is, in my opinion, the best of the three and the only one I was tempted to buy for myself.

Priced at $60.00, this limited edition eye shadow palette was a wonderful addition to my makeup  collection. I know that this palette had been reviewed up the ying yang by the time I finally got mine,  but I didn't much care, I wanted  to share my thoughts on this palette so here they are.

From the box, the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette is tucked snugly in a synthetic fabric zip top makeup pouch. The pouch is black with the Urban Decay logo and the Vice 3 sunset splashed across it. This zip pouch wold be handy for travel, it would hold quite a bit of makeup, a handful of brushes. It lies flat and doesn't take up any room for storage when not in use.

This palette's packaging is pure Urban Decay. This slender silver and shiny lime green metallic plastic palette looks very urban and contemporary but harkens back to the decadence, the neon bright colours and the sunset glamour of the Eighties. On the front of the palette is the subtle sunset pattern and emblazoned across the lid in a brilliant, neon green plastic jewel, "vice."

Open the lid with a securely magnetized closure and inside the upper well is the obligatory mirror. This one is big; if you are traveling with this palette, this mirror, with good lighting, can serve as your full face makeup mirror. In the lower portion of the palette is twenty brand new, exclusive to this palette eye shadow shades. Also included is a shorty, double ended synthetic eye shadow application brush. Blech. You know my opinion on double ended brushes... I quickly decided which end of this brush would best serve me, grabbed my scissors and gave that sucker a hair cut. Urban Decay, (because they totally read my blog!) stahp! with the junky double ended brushes! Just give us a great single ended brush. Or, better yet, a beautiful, coordinating eye liner or a great lip gloss or a full sized Primer Potion..

Okay, moving on.

Look at these beautiful colours! There are soft, subtle neutral mattes. Rich, neutral shimmers. Polished, shining metallics. Fun, inspiring jewel tones and brights. I am so impressed and happy with the range of colours, shades and finishes in this palette. Urban Decay put a lot of thought in to this palette and they did a fantastic job on it. Let's take a look at swatches, shall we?

All of these shadows are swatched over primer, as I always wear shadow with primer. These swatches are in row order, left to right, top to bottom as you are facing the screen.

Truth: A soft matte light pink.
Undone: Matte, warm coral.
Downfall: Softly satin saddle tan.
DTF: Plummy rose matte with a floating gold shimmer.

Dragon: Brilliant emerald green metallic with a gold undertone.
Freeze: Ice blue shimmer with a hint of grey.
Heroine: Deep purple satin with blue and pink floating sparkle.
Brokedown: Bright, polished brass metallic.

Vanity: Purple shimmer with a gold floating sparkle.
Lucky: 18 Karat gold metallic shimmer.
Reign: Warm brown/bronze shimmer.
Bobby Dazzle: Frosty, semi sheer icy white shimmer.

Alien: Bubble gum pink satin with a floating gold radiance.
Alchemy: Fuchsia shimmer.
Bondage: Deep Merlot shimmer.
Sonic: Coral shimmer with a floating melon metallic shimmer.

Last Sin: Sin... All grown up and ready for action.
Angel: Rich taupe shimmer.
Defy: Dark chocolate plum satin matte.
Revolver: Gunmetal grey shimmer.

My thoughts overall:

Almost all of the shadows in the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette  are nicely pigmented and have wonderful payoff on the eye. The mattes are creamy and smooth, if a tad powdery. A few of the shimmer/metallic shades are a little flaky but not to a bothersome degree. I do suggest that as with any eye shadows, if you are going to do a super intense, dark or very bright eye look that you do your eyes, first, deal with any fallout then apply your face makeup. But for day to day, regular wear these shadows are easy to handle and they don't give any trouble.

My only real dog in this bunch is Bobby Dazzle. This semi sheer, frosty, sparkly, crumbly mess would have been better replaced by a jam up smooth, buttery ivory satin or matte highlight. I find Bobby Dazzle to be pretty much useless and I don't like it.

I took pictures of these shadows in action, a little while back. I used shadows from the last and first rows for this wearable, smoked out look. My liner is Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Smoke. Mascara is one coat of Dolce & Gabbana Passion Eyes Duo Mascara. This mascara rocks!

These shadows work great for maturing, even hooded eyes! If you are of a certain age and want the Urban Decay Vice 3 Eye Shadow Palette go for it! This palette isn't just for the kids, gentle reader. It is great for anyone, any age.

The Urban Decay Vice 3 Eye Shadow Palette is once again available for sale! You can get it on the Urban Decay Website, I am happy that I bought this palette and and I reach for it often. It's a good one and if you wanted it, the first time it went around and were kicking yourself for not snapping it up, now's your chance! Go get it!

Do you own this palette? What do you think of it?

Easy New Year's Eve Nail Look

The New Year is approaching, fast. Parties, a night with your special someone, a family evening playing games and watching videos until the clock strikes midnight...

Whatever our plans, we all want to look great and feel festive and sparkly on that evening. Here is a quick idea for your nails. No artistic talent is required, no special skills. Just two polishes; a rich, deep toned creme and a contrasting glitter. Then top it all with a high shine, quick dry top coat for maximum sparkle and flash. For this look I used China Glaze De - Light over China Glaze Out Like a Light. I love the sparkly, high shine glam of the gold glitter mix in De -Light topping the deep, greyed green of Out Like a Light. I finished with good old Seche Vite.

You can use just about any polish and glitter combination but for maximum impact, choose polishes with plenty of contrast. Also, don't be afraid to try what might seem to be an unusual combination. I didn't think that these two polishes would work together. I just threw this glitter over this creme for the hell of it and I think that they are dynamite, together.

What are you doing for the New Year? Decided what you're doing with your nails, yet?

BITE Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil Holiday Gift Set

**affiliate links**

Okay, this is a jerk move. I know. This BITE Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil Gift Set is no longer available. You may take me out and beat me. But I'm excited about BITE Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencils, in general. I happen to be a huge fan of these lippies so I am sharing this set with you because two of the shades in this gift set are available in the permanent line. So... BITE me. See what I did there? #clevergirl

Sold at Sephora, this darling little giftable set was priced at a very reasonable $25.00 and was so adorably packaged. First was the outer slip cover, with a photograph of the four lip pencils, embossed with shiny fuchsia snowflakes.

Inside the slip cover was a bright red candy sized tin with a slightly rubberized texture and the BITE logo in raised relief on the lid. This tin now lives in my handbag, it is holding all of my loose change.

When I opened the lid, in the upper portion is a full sized mirror. In the lower half of the tin, wrapped in white vellum printed in red with the BITE logo were four snack sized High Pigment Lip Pencils. Two are permanent shades, two seem to be just in this set.

Look at these adorable snack sized pencils. Just look at them! The coloured ends kind of match the colour of the lippie within. Kind of. More on that, later. These pencils are perfectly portable; they are the exact right size to pop into a wallet, clutch bag for the evening or stuff into your already bulging makeup bag in your already bulging handbag. While these pencils are petite, they don't skimp on quality and impact on your lips!

Swatches on my hand. Look at how smooth and creamy these babies are! I didn't have to struggle to draw these happy, smiley faces, gentle reader. They practically drew themselves. These four shades are very neutral, wearable and I feel, pretty flattering to a wide range of skin tones.

Sable is a soft, neutral pink/nude. The end of the pencil looks pretty scary. Brown/nude. When I first saw that pencil, my gut reaction was, "Aw, hell NO!" Then, I popped off the top and realized that the end cap was very much not what was inside the tube. *big sigh of relief* This has become a fave, I reach for this when I want a quick, easy, pretty lip that I can splash on and not think about for hours, on end. BITE really needs to make this a permanent shade. STAT!

Pomegranate is a rich, true, beautifully balanced red that I feel would flatter many. I have worn this a couple of times, now and I have to say, I'm starting to really enjoy sporting a bolder lip. This is a permanent shade.

Winterberry is a clean, cool plum. This is delicious. And another shade I think that BITE should add to their permanent line. While this one isn't available, a similar one seems to be Amarone.

Then there is Rhubarb. This beautiful rosy plum swatched a little to the brown side on my hand but goes definitely rosy on my very red lips. Yay for that, as I don't like brown lippies, myself. ***mmm... Peach Tea Diet Snapple...*** This is another permanent shade so if you like the look of it, you can have it.

As with the full sized BITE Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencils these snack sized beauties are every bit  the high quality, intense pigmentation, gorgeous shades and tones, lovely hydration, long, comfortable wear. BITE doesn't skimp on the quality when they go petite for their giftie sized goodies.

I like to wear these with a good clear barrier pencil to keep things in place because #verticalliplines are a thing for me. These wear for me for hours without worrying about touchups or having them crawl all over my face or ending up all over my teeth. They are moisturizing and when I take them off, my lips and soft and happy and ready to have them back on, the next day, if I choose.

You can find BITE Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencils and other scrumptious BITE lip beautifiers on the Sephora website and in their stores. If you really wanted this mini lip pencil set, tho it is sold out online, there may be some left in random stores. I would suggest trying out of the way Sephora stores or Sephora in JC Penney locations and so on. You never know... You might get lucky.

Do you love and wear BITE? Did you get this set? Please do tell.

Dermalogica Super Rich Repair Cream

If there is one thing on this planet that I love, it is something that will quench my skin's never ending thirst. Like a vampire who has been kept locked away, deprived of sustenance for centuries, my very dry skin burns to drink, to fulfill it's self.

**press sample** **affiliate links**

Dermalogica Super Rich Repair Cream is the nourishing, deeply hydrating, sustaining drink that my parched, maturing skin craves at it's deepest level.

What Dermalogica says about it:

Deeply nourishing skin treatment cream minimizes chronically dry, dehydrated skin. Heavyweight cream helps replenish skin's natural moisture levels to defend against environmental assaults. Powerful peptides help encourage collagen - producing activities while an acid free smoothing complex supports elasticity and tone. Shea Butter and Oil of Evening Primrose help replenish and hydrate while antioxidants help defend against free radical damage. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colours.

What I say about it:

This cream is amazing. This thick, rich formula deeply hydrates my skin, leaving it feeling soft, smooth, comfortable and calm. I can use this over my favorite serums, alone or in tandem with other targeted treatment creams at night and wake with fresh, smooth, plumped and happy skin. In my experience, this cream doesn't play all that well with makeup. I prefer it when I am bare faced.

Dermalogica Super Rich Repair Cream is packaged in an air tight jar with a pump delivery system. I love this packaging! It keeps the product in premium condition and clean and sanitary. It is easy to dispense just the perfect amount that you want, every time. No worries about dipping fingers or sanitizing those stupid little spatulas. Thank you, Dermalogica!

Here are the ingredients, in case you are curious about what's in this cream. I was going to type all of this out but... I don't touch type and I would be at trying to get that business typed out all my life long. So I'm taking the lazy way out. You get a photograph and you'll like it. Oh my gosh. I am my mother.

Here is a little swatch of the cream on the back of my hand. Look how rich! It holds it's shape. Doesn't move. But, it's not stiff or weird. It's just full of good stuff that adds that body. I had my usual hand lotion on, in the photo on the left. And on the right, the back of my hand, after it was rubbed in. You can see the immediate improvement in the texture, softness and smoothness of the skin. (The only photo editing done on that shot is cropping, resizing, sharpening and brightening the exposure a little, as my camera tends to photograph my skin darker, for some reason and my lighting sucks.) That hand, through multiple hand washings and housework and the long long day stayed soft and supple while my right... Well. Not so much. Colour me impressed. If this moisturizer could do that for my hand, imagine how well it could work for my face.

And so it does. Dermalogica Super Rich Repair Cream is what my skin has been dreaming about. In rotation with my other favorites, my skin looks and feels better than ever. This cream works. And I love it. I just wish I were super rich and I could buy it in huge gallon jugs with pump dispensers and I could slather it on, from my hairline to the bottoms of my feet, every single day. I would love for my entire body, top to toe, stem to stern to feel like my face does.

Dermalogica Super Rich Repair Cream comes in a 1.7 ounce jar and retails for $80.00. It and other beautiful Dermalogica skin care is available from DermalogicaUltaNordstrom. This cream is not all natural but according to My Beauty Bunny (a source CF beauties can absolutely trust for this information) it is cruelty free.

Follow Dermalogica on Twitter and visit them on Facebook.

Have you tried Dermalogica Super Rich Repair Cream? Any other products from the Age Smart Line? Do you use Dermalogica? What are your favorites? Please do tell. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this exemplary line in a comment, if you have a little time to chat.

Reviva Labs Nasolabial Fold + Multi Peptide Cream Review

As Truvy said in Steel Magnolias, "Time marches on. And sooner or later, you realize it's marching across your face."

**press sample** **affiliate links**

If there is one truism I have learned in my fifty years spinning on this third rock from the Sun, it is that aging is inevitable. As we gain years, experience and wisdom we also gain fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin and nasiolabial folds or "marionette lines." Those oh so lovely deep folds in the skin, bracketing our nose and mouth. Reviva Labs Nasolabial Fold + Multi Peptide Cream is a cream that can help, with correct, consistent use to soften and diffuse the appearance of those lines.

When Reviva Labs approached me and offered this product to me for consideration, I jumped at the opportunity. Not only am I a true fan of this line, I am down for any product that may help stave off the signs of aging. A cream that could potentially improve the appearance of my marionette lines? Yes, please!

Reviva Labs Nasolabial Fold + Multi Peptide Cream is a thick, rich, moisturizing formula. I have learned, through trial and error that less is more. It doesn't take a lot of this product to do the job. In my experience too much product will result in a waxy buildup on my skin and product rolling and balling off. I don't have that problem, as long as I use the right amount.

I have been using this cream, according to the directions printed on the label consistently since I received it and my personal experience is hydrated, very soft, temporarily plumped up skin. The appearance of my deeper skin folds bracketing my mouth does seem to be somewhat softened. I also notice a little improvement in my forehead lines. (Which, thankfully are not all that bad, for me, yet.) I also like this cream for my neck, it feels firming and seems to be helping that subtle neck ring line that is forming. I am seeing some results from this cream. I don't look twenty-five, again. I never will. But this is helping to slow the march of time and aging across my face a bit. Putting off when I will need to seek perhaps more drastic intervention. I'll take it. I like this product and I suggest that if, like me, you have those signs of aging, you give this cream a try.

What Reviva Labs has to say:

No skin cream can claim it can totally remove deep nasolabial folds but now, we can help reduce their appearance as well as other stubborn facial lines
Details about Nasolabial Folds and Deep Lines Near Mouth and Jawline.
The skin “folds” that run from each side of the nose to corners of the mouth (called “Nasolabial Folds”) are commonly thought to be the result of years of facial movements like smiles, frowns and other expressions. But Reviva Labs and various medical experts agree that facial contractions are not the only cause. Aging and the loss of cheek fat is a major factor. The young face is full, with cheeks that have a “fat pad”. With age, the fat falls down toward the nose causing skin sag and folds. In addition, skin along the jawline drops (creating jowels) and skin towards edges of mouth loosens, forming lines or wrinkles.

The Difference in Our New Peptide/Nasolabial Fold Cream.
Reviva’s original Peptide Cream was excellent for wrinkles. But the new formula features an advanced combination of peptides that address deeper wrinkles and so much more! Special new peptides and additional ingredients can help increase the volume of fatty tissue. Thus, it can soften, plump up and help folds look less pronounced.Result? A more youthful look. No skin cream can claim it can totally remove deep nasolabial folds, but now we can help reduce their appearance as well as other stubborn facial lines.

If you are interested in trying Reviva Labs Nasolabial Fold + Multi Peptide Cream it is available from Reviva Labs in a generous 2 oz jar for $49.00. And remember, a little goes a long way, this cream will last quite a while, especially if you concentrate it's use to areas of concern.

Reviva Labs is cruelty free, many of their products are also animal product free. Their skin care is efficacious, affordable and I personally have quite a few Reviva Labs products in my skin care rotation. Products that I happily pay for with my own money, because I have either been sent those products to try and repurchased, over and over or tried on my own. I like this line and I like and respect this company and their mission. I highly recommend their products.

Visit Reviva Labs on Facebook, check out video reviews and tutorials on their YouTube, follow on Twitter for the latest news you can use!

Do you use Reviva Labs skincare? Have you tried this particular cream? What do you think of it? Please share.

Lancome Blush Subtil Palette

Let us enjoy a look at the Lancome Blush Subtil Palette I decided to buy on impulse, last Summer.

 **affiliate links**

Lancome Blush Subtil Palette  in 375 Menage A Trois Flush was a limited edition for I think Spring. There is a similar shade and name (I linked to it) but this exact one is no longer available. I looked and looked for it but it just isn't to be found.  I'm sorry.

The Lancome Blush Subtil Palettes are packaged in Lancome's signature sleek, black compacts with a gold rose stamped in one corner. The compact feels solid and smooth in the hand. Press the little button on the font and the lid gently springs up to reveal the contents.

Inside the lid is the expected full sized mirror. In the well of the compact is three cakes of softly shimmery cheek beautifying goodness. First is a rosy pink shimmer blush, the middle shade, stamped with the signature Lancome rose is a baby pink satin then there is a narrow, barely pink champagne highlight.

The texture of these blushes is lovely. Soft, velvety smooth. They don't kick up much dust when my brush hits them, they impart a beautiful, radiant flush to the cheeks and wear on my skin all day without touch up.

Swatches, in order found in the palette. I like that the highlight shade is subtle, especially since the blush shades are pretty shimmery and can light up the cheeks pretty well on their own. I like to use this highlight with these blushes and with others, too. I just wish that the cake were larger.

The Lancome Blush Subtil Palette is available in a variety of shades that will flatter skin tones from fair to deep. It is priced at $43.00 and you can buy it at Lancome counters and online from NordstromDillard'sNeiman Marcus and Sephora. Different retailers have different shades, you may need to hunt around a little to find just the right one.

Do you own any of these lovely little blush palettes? Would you buy any of them? Which trio is your favorite? Please do tell. I think that I very, very much want a peach one, too. So greedy. What can I say?
