Hello gentle readers.
OPI Live. Love. Carnival, from this year's fantastic Brazil Collection for Spring/Summer is a beautiful, warm, perfectly balanced orange coral creme. The mix of red, orange, peach and even pink is absolutely on point, making this coral a Summer neutral that can be worn with many other colours like navy blue, white, yellow, green even brown, if it floats your boat. This polish is going to set off tanned tips and toes perfectly, all season long.
This is not just a swatch and run post, gentle reader. I have been wearing this polish and I can't get enough of it. I am on a major bright and coral kick, this year and this polish is ticking all of my boxes. The wear time is pretty decent on this baby, I get a good four days out of it before it falls apart on me and needs to go bye-bye. I'll take it.
This swatch is two coats and Seche Vite.
On to the formula. It's pretty great. Smooth, easy to apply and control, this polish doesn't give me any difficulties, really. There is no running, pooling, flooding, streaking (beyond the norm on the first coat kind of thing), pulling, dragging or bubbling. I didn't have to do a ton of cleanup while applying this and what I did do is because I usually polish highly caffeinated and I have a little tremor so yeah... I make a bit of a mess, no matter how carefully I polish and I end up doing cleanup. Dry time is pretty good with this polish and even more stunning with Seche Vite or another fast dry top coat. I can slop this on, top coat it and get back to my daily activities in not a lot of time.
I am really digging OPI Live. Love. Carnival. Do you own this beautiful polish? If you are looking for a fantastic Summer mani-pedi colour, you could do a lot worse than this one. If you are now craving coral goodness, you can find OPI Live. Love. Carnival. at Sally Beauty Supply, Ulta, JC Penny salons, other beauty supplies that carry OPI.
Thank you so much for coming by and reading and have a bright, warm day!
