Review: China Glaze Lotus Begin

Hello gentle reader.

Just a quickie. I have a frakking migraine and I am so not in the mood to think, at the moment.

China Glaze Lotus Begin is a beautiful lilac creme from their Spring City Flourish Collection. I have all of the polishes from that collection and am way behind on sharing them. They will trickle through, here and there. Yes, I know. I suck.

This manicure was two coats and Seche Vite. (Three on my pinkie, thanks to my out of control ridges.)

China Glaze Lotus Begin has a lovely formula. Smooth, creamy-dreamy and easy to control. This polish applies easily, I didn't have trouble with streaking, running, dragging or flooding my cuticles. Dry time is decent, especially with good old Seche Vite. I wore this polish for about four days before it needed to be changed out. I am happy with that.

China Glaze Lotus Begin isn't widely available in stores now. You may find it in clearance displays. It is available on Amazon and I just checked the Ulta website and you can get it there, as well.

Do you own this pretty lilac polish? What do you think of it?

Say, have you entered my giveaway? The prize is two Sleek Eye Shadow Palettes and some lashes to go with them. Please click the link or the picture at the top of my sidebar to travel to my giveaway post and enter. The giveaway is open until midnight on the 21st to U.S. residents.

Thank you for coming by and reading. Have a great day and may your polish never bubble.

  2. sorry about your migraine! I love lilac polishes, but I don't have this one. So nice to have a lilac with a great formula, though, isn't it?

  7. I like it. I think that it has enough gravity to go through the seasons. It' isn't too light and "Spring-y."

Thank you. A night's sleep helped a little.

  8. Migraines suck. I am so sick of them and meds just don't help. I just failed another one and I am about ready to go full Anne Boleyn. :P

  15. It's an old saw on this blog. I started closing with it because I get frustrated by bubbles in my polish. They drive me cray. LOL
