NeoStrata Skin Active Intensive Eye Therapy: First Impression

::sponsored post/affiliate::

NeoStrata, purveyors of high quality, efficacious skin care has generously provided me with a few samples of their lovely products and I'm going to share my first impressions of these goodies with you, today.

The reason why we are here is the Skin Active Intensive Eye Therapy: .50 oz. $79.00, a white, silky gel creme treatment serum. Some of the claims of the brand are that the SynerG Formula builds and plumps layers of the skin, Peptides stimulate matrix components to produce more collagen, Neo Glucosamine helps reinforce collagen's surrounding structure and caffeine depuffs the eye area.

Some of the active ingredients are: SynerG Formula 6.0, Apple Stem Cell Extract, Peptides, Neo Glucosamine, Caffeine, Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E.

I haven't been using this for long, but my first impression is quite favorable. Used with my eye cream, the Intensive Eye Therapy makes the skin around my eyes look smoother, the fine lines softened and diffused. My makeup glides on over this treatment very nicely and it doesn't slide off. So far, I am enjoying this deluxe sample. I'm interested to see if I appreciate any lasting results. Intensive Eye Therapy applies smoothly and a little goes a long way. It doesn't have much of a scent and I do not experience any sensitivity or irritation when I use it.

Included in with the Intensive Eye Therapy was a tiny pump vial of the Firming Collagen Booster, a clear, thin gel serum and a couple of sachet samples. I was unable to try the Matrix Supplement as it contains a chemical sunscreen. I passed that sample along to my mother in law and she was perfectly happy to use it and was impressed.

Back of my hand swatches of the Firming Collagen Booster and the Intensive Eye Therapy.

  1. I liked this a lot so far. I was surprised that the full size is only 0.15 oz larger than the sample we received, so I'm hoping the sample will last me a while!

  2. I haven't tried either product, but I have used Neostrata in the passed. Great first impression review.

  3. So you use the Eye Therapy in addition to an Eye Cream? I suppose that is my future - I've already added face serums, now an eye serum, too. Too bad about the chemical sunscreen, but it's good that your mom liked it. Sounds like a good brand.

  4. Sounds really nice! I love eye creams

  5. I love eye creams! This sounds fancy.

  6. I haven't tried this brand yet but I've read nice things

  7. This is a nice eye area treatment. I think that you would like it.

  8. You can't go wrong with good eye creams.

  9. My mother in law enjoyed the sample. I usually pass anything that contains chemical sunscreen along to her. She is all too happy to take stuff off my hands. lol It's never too early to start using as much god stuff on your face as you can!

  10. Thank you so much. I'd like to try more from this brand.

  11. Same here. I'm using it sparingly, hoping it lasts a while.

  12. The eye therapy sounds great and promises super results. I wonder how it would work on dark circles caused by two hours' erratic sleep :(

  13. I'd never heard of this product until today!

  14. I just saw this on another blog and wanted it!

  15. I've never heard of this brand before but it sounds impressive. Loving your photos!

  16. I like the consistency of how this product looks. I definitely want to try this.

  17. I'm all over eye serums/treatments this winter. Love how your pics came out!!

  18. Sounds perfect and such a good product. Love the new layout :)

  19. It has had no effect on my dark circles. I didn't expect it to. ;)

  20. I haven't tried this yet! Looks like a great product though!

I love to know what you're thinking. I dig honest discourse and lively discussion, even a good debate. I do not dig hate speech or personal attacks either against myself or my gentle readers.
