I don't have a Sunday Secret, today. I couldn't think of a good one, this weekend is nuts and well... Shit happens.

I do have new hair. I went to have my hair done, yesterday and while my stylist was brushing in my highlights I asked her about the possibility of adding some teal streaks to the party, as well. She jumped right on it. We had discussed the possibility in the past but I always chickened out... I wasn't quite ready to commit to it. I was, yesterday so once my highlights and base were in, she mixed up some beautiful blue-y green and added it, as well. I'm thrilled with the result.

Sorry about the image quality... These are all cell phone shots. Ignore my face... Salon Day makeup is always a washout. Anyway, I love how my streaks blend into my cool blonde and my heart of darkness under layers and the way they look more blue or more green, depending on the light.

I think at my next appointment, in June, we are going to streak in some cobalt blue with the teal.

Want to hear something funny? My husband, Mr. Observant has yet to notice that his wife has teal in her hair.

Would you consider adding some fun colour to your hair? If so, what colour do you think you would like? Tell me about it. Even if it's just a dream.

I hope that you are all having a happy Easter and enjoying your Sunday.

  1. Love it! I've had a number of colored streaks over the years (red, pink, purple, blue, and teal) and teal is one of my favorites. I hope you post more pics for us to drool over!

    Cool color!

  3. Love the color, and yes, I would love to add some colored streaks, but it's not going to happen with my job. And I'm giggling like crazy over Mr. Observant. :D

  4. Guess what. It's Monday, he STILL hasn't noticed. LOLOL How about clip in streaks? I use them for colours that I don't want to add, permanently. :D

  5. Thank you! I will, in future.

  6. LOL.

And I might have to try those.

I love to know what you're thinking. I dig honest discourse and lively discussion, even a good debate. I do not dig hate speech or personal attacks either against myself or my gentle readers.
