I know that I devote a lot of attention to spendier eye shadows on this blog. I admit, I like them... The beautiful packaging, gorgeous colours, fantastic quality. They have what I want. But not all of my favorite, quality eye shadows come with a hefty price tag.
Witness the Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eye Shadow Set in Comfort Zone. This is probably my number one drugstore eye shadow palette. At just under five dollars, I felt absolutely no guilt when, after killing my favorite shades in my last palette, I shit canned it and went to my local Walgreen's and bought a new one.
I admit... In my excitement over new eye shadow palettes that have been coming into my life, I haven't been using this one and I thought I'd pull it out and give it a little love. This fresh, Summery green eye shadow look is done with drugstore shadows, liner and mascara and is quick and easy to apply.
I start with my brows created and a base of eye shadow primer to lock down my eye look and get maximum colour payoff.
I lined with Cover Girl Intensify Me! liquid liner in black and curled my lashes and applied a coat of Cover Girl The Super Sizer Mascara.
Are you a fan of Wet n Wild Color Icon eye shadows? I own a handful of palettes that are absolutely top rate. A few that are... Okay, that I keep around because they are pretty and were limited edition. I really like some of their singles, too. Especially Brulee. It's such a good brow highlight.
I hope that you enjoyed this little... I hesitate to say tutorial, really. How to? Anyway, I hope that you found it helpful.
