I was drifting around my local Target, one day, picking up a few things I needed including hair care products. I had some coupons for L'Oreal hair care so I decided to try their Smooth Intense line and while I was at it, I grabbed a bottle of the L'Oreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray. I was skeptical, I mean, could a spray really help dry my hair faster? At less than four dollars and with a dollar off coupon, I figured I didn't have much to lose, why not find out?
As a thick haired American, one task I don't necessarily enjoy is blowing my hair dry. I can think of things I would rather spend my time doing... Walking down a paved road barefoot in Death Valley in the Summer. Having root canal. Cooking. Drinking decaf coffee... Getting my hair completely dry is a time consuming pain in my ass process. Section. Clip. Dry, dry, dry. Brush, brush, brush. Think I'm done? Nope. Still got wet spots. Gah! Get back in there. And repeat.
The experts tell us to let our hair air dry until nearly dry then finish with the blow dryer. If I do that, my wurls set in all kinds of crazy ways and my hair looks as if I stuck my finger in a light socket. Not cute! I have to start with my hair wet, apply my leave ins, usually a bit of treatment oil, a little leave in and then mist the L'Oreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray all through my hair. I blow it dry, using my paddle brush. If I want it to be especially smooth, I add a finishing polish with my straightener or I curl it.
L'Oreal Blow Dry It Quick Dry Primer Spray is a Bargain Beauty Find for one simple reason. It works! I don't know how. I don't know why... But this stuff gets my hair dry faster, makes it look smoother, shinier and it stays that way until I wash my hair. I like it and I'll definitely buy it, again.
