Resurface and Rejuvenate Your Complexion with Ellen Lange Retexturizing Peel

//product sent for consideration//affiliate link in use//

Peel. Just the word can be intimidating. Scary, even. Fear not, gentle reader. You can treat yourself to an effective, skin rejuvenating peel safely, in the comfort of your own home in less than fifteen minutes.

I have had this peel in my possession for quite some time and am just now writing about it because I wanted and needed to give it a good run before I spoke about it. Some skin care, I can post about, right away; other products, I need time with. I wanted to be sure that I was giving you a thorough and well considered review of this product.

Combining Glycolic Acid, Micro Beads and Enzymes, the Ellen Lange Retexturizing Peel effectively and gently removes dull surface cells to reveal healthy, more youthful looking skin. Glycolic Acid can fade dark spots and acne marks, help to clear acne for some users, brighten the skin, temporarily firm and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and it imparts a beautiful, radiant glow. This peel is designed to be effective and appropriate for most skin types and for all skin tones.

The Ellen Lange Retexturizing Skin Peel at home Facial Treatment Kit includes Peel Prep scrub, Peel Accelerator Pads, Glycolic Peel Solution, several small plastic, marked dispensing cups and an application brush.

Ready to peel? It's easy as one, two, three.

Step One: Peel Prep Enzyme Scrub. After cleansing, I dip up a bit of this orange, unscented gentle scrub and massage it into my skin in circular motions for 30 to 60 seconds. I scrub for the full minute because I need more exfoliation then I leave it on my skin for an additional 60 seconds then rinse.

Step Two: Peel Accelerator Pads: I Gently wipe one of the textured pads across my entire face (avoiding my eyes and lips), to accelerate exfoliation and then let the solution dry, completely. I usually feel a little sting when using these pads. It isn't bad but I like to make it worse by scrubbing and shaving before I do my peel. I'm an idiot like that.

Step Three: Glycolic Peel Solution. Here is where it gets good, kids. Pump (or in my case pour, thanks to a busted pump) one teaspoon of the Glycolic Peel Solution into a marked dispensing cup and, using the provided fan brush, stroke the solution all over my face (avoiding my eyes and lips, of course) and let it foam up and disperse. At this point, I am supposed to massage my face with damp fingers and let it foam up, again. I don't get the second foam, so I spray my face lightly with rosewater and apply a little more of the Glycolic Peel solution and let it foam, again. I let it then sit on my face an additional five minutes, then rinse. I gently pat my face dry and glory in my fresh, silken smooth, glowing complexion.

My skin looks and feels like a New Thing for at least a week, after an Ellen Lange Retexturizing Peel. My skin care sinks in better, my makeup looks smoother and more flawless. I can often forgo foundation, altogether. Just correct and conceal my under eye area, hit any little spots that may need it with a little concealer and do eyes, cheeks and lips and feel confident to go anywhere or even take selfies and use one as a profile pic for a while.

Okay, here comes the CAUTION part of this post. This peel is not intended for use if you are pregnant or nursing. If you are photosensitive don't use this peel.

My freshly peeled skin is more sensitive to UV exposure so I make sure to protect my face with a high SPF mineral sunscreen and a big, floppy hat when I have to venture out in the sun.

Exuviance DePuffing Eye Serum | My Notes

//product provided for consideration//
Got bags? Under eye bags, that is?

Exuviance DePuffing Eye Serum may be able to help.
90% saw eye puffiness reduced within 4 hours* of using this eye serum that targets four sources of puffiness.
  • Eyeliss™ and Actiflow® target microcirculation and helps strengthen fragile skin, reducing the pooling that can lead to puffiness and bags
  • NeoGlucosamine® helps firm and tone both eyelid and under-eye droopiness over time
  • Triple micro-roller applicator massages to stimulate circulation, while delivering serum to the eye area
  • Caffeine helps stimulate and invigorate the skin
  • Chamomile, Green Tea and Cucumber refresh the eye area.

Contained in a clicky pen and applied via three little round metal balls, this cooling and soothing treatment rolls on under the eyes and feels good, doing it. Once on, a few gentle pats with the pad of the finger tips and my eye area feels refreshed and looks a little firmer.

I don't really have bags under my eyes... I guess that the insane dark circles that plague my very existence are punishment enough for any evil I did in a past life but I never turn down an eye serum that may firm that area even a little bit. Sadly, this serum does nothing for my dark circles. I keep hoping for the magic bullet of eye treatments but so far... No joy.

A close up of the delivery system. Simply push the plunger button at the back of the pen and the serum is extruded around the balls. (Okay, my inner twelve year old is giggling like a hyena.) The serum looks a little cloudy then goes on clear. Once it sinks in, the skin feels soft and smoother.

Aqua (Water), Isododecane, Dimethicone, Acetyl Glucosamine, Glycerin, Polysilicone-11, Polysorbate 80, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Camellia Oleifera Leaf Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate, Dipeptide-2, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Caffeine, PEG-14M, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract, Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone, Citric Acid, Steareth-20, Propylene Glycol, Sorbitan Isostearate, Polysorbate 60, Caprylyl Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Phenoxyethanol, CI 42090 (Blue 1), CI 15985 (Yellow 6).
I wish that I could say that this serum is a miracle worker. I like how it does it's job on my eye area but I don't really see a dramatic difference. I am enjoying this serum while it lasts but I wouldn't repurchase it. Perhaps I am just not the ideal target audience for this product. The other Exuviance skin care that I have tried have been big hits for me.

Have you tried the Exuviance DePuffing Eye Serum? How well did it work for you?

Shine Brightening Facial Oil for a Brighter and More Refined Complexion

//product provided for consideration//

So, I think that this is shaping up to be a Skin Care Week on the old blog. I think I'll roll with it. Let's get gorgeous skin!

I have an affinity for beauty oils and I was delighted when I was offered the opportunity to try SHINE Brightening Facial Oil by Amalie.

"Brighten dark spots, fade blemishes and  moisturize dry skin with SHINE Brightening Facial Oil."

Okay, I can't speak with authority on this oil's ability to fade acne marks or dark spots. Due to assiduous effort and age (Mama doesn't break out, anymore), my skin is already pretty even toned and bright. I do, however have very dry skin and keeping it hydrated, plumped and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles are my main concerns.

Happily, SHINE Brightening Facial Oil helps me with that.

Packaged in a small glass bottle with a dropper top is a mixture of moisturizing oils including Pomegranate, Argan, Jojoba and Sunflower Seed oils to deeply hydrate and feed the skin. Licorice Extract, Lemon Peel Oil, Bearberry and Elderberry Fruit Extracts combine with Grapefruit Seed Oil to help fade dark spots and acne marks and brighten skin all over. Jasmine oil provides a rich sensory experience.

The bottle is painted black to help protect the ingredients from light incursion but the dropper top doesn't do anything to keep air safe. In my opinion, a pump would have been a better choice. Plus, I'm a klutz and I live in fear of dumping this precious stuff all over my dressing table. If I did that, I'd just curl up and cry.

How do I use SHINE Brightening Facial Oil? In a few different ways, actually. After cleansing and toning with a facial mist I may mix this oil with serum and press the combo into my skin, use eye cream to finish. Another is to apply my regular skin care then take a little of this oil and press it in on top to seal and further hydrate my skin. Some days, I just moisturize with the oil. I also like to add a few drops to the ends of my hair.

Every time I use this beautiful oil, I like to cup my hands over my nose and breathe in the glorious jasmine scent. Oh, my! This oil smells so good! If you don't like floral scents or scented products, in general this facial oil will probably not be your cup of tea. The scent is rich tho not super strong. It does linger for a short while after application, which is one reason why I like to use it in my hair!

I would love a barrel of this stuff. Just dip me in it, head to toe, every day.

Organic Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Oil, Organic Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Helianthus Annuus Sunflower (Seed) Oil, Organic Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf (Bearberry) Extract, Sambucus Nigra (Elderberry) Fruit Extract, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit Seed) Oil, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil.

Have you tried SHINE Brightening Facial Oil by Amalie? I am also test driving the Wink Lash and Brow Oil. The jury is still out on that one, I need more time with it.

SHINE Brightening Facial Oil is cruelty free, vegan and made here in the U.S. Packaging is recyclable.

Glow Deliciously with Farmhouse Fresh Pudding Apeel Active Fruit Glycolic Mask

//product sent for consideration//

I like pudding. Who doesn't like pudding? I mean, it's sweet, rich, comforting and it makes me feel like a kid, again when I treat myself to a dish. What could be better?

How about a jar of pudding for my face? Farmhouse Fresh, purveyors of all beauty luscious has created a delicious and tingly mask that combines Rice, Glycolic and Fruit AHA's to exfoliate and increase cell turnover while treating and improving the appearance of acne marks, dullness and uneven tone. Coconut Milk and Honey hydrate and plump while Tapioca, Green Tea and Honeysuckle Extracts soothe and make my skin feel silky smooth.

How to use? I grab a synthetic flat foundation brush and smooth the mask across my freshly cleansed skin in a thin layer. Be careful to not get this too close to the eyes! Glycolic and eyeballs... Not compatible bedfellows. I kick back and enjoy the light tingling sensation and delicious scent while the active ingredients get busy on my skin. After twenty minutes or so (usually longer... I tend to get sidetracked when I'm masking) I grab a soft facecloth and rinse. A spritz of my favorite rosewater and my routine skin care to finish and my complexion feels insanely soft and smooth and looks radiant and even toned for days.

Rich. Creamy. Deliciously edible smelling. You might be tempted to grab a spoon and gobble up your jar of Pudding Apeel. Don't do that. Just smear it all over your face and emerge glowing, gorgeous and looking forward to your next treatment. This mask is gentle enough to use as often as you please, but if you are sensitive or new to Alpha Hydroxy Acids, take it slow and easy. Test, first then treat your skin to this yummy mask once a week or so until your skin is ready for more. Don't forget that this sweet treat is serious stuff and makes the skin more photosensitive so it is best to protect that flower face with a high SPF sunscreen.

I am so enjoying this sweet, creamy, dessert for my face. I love the way it smells, feels going on and how lovely my skin looks when I use it. If you want to treat yoself, get it here. You can also buy this and other Farmhouse Fresh yum from Dermstore and other select fine retailers and spas. Farmhouse Fresh is social! Find them on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.

Farmhouse Fresh produces and hand packs their delicious face and body care treats right here in the U.S. from mostly natural ingredients; they are proudly cruelty free and free of parabens, sulfates and some products are vegan and gluten free, as well.

Have you tried Farmhouse Pudding Apeel? Isn't it delish? If you haven't, what are you waiting for?

Play! By Sephora Monthly Beauty Subscription Box | My Notes

//affiliate links in use//
After weeks of languishing on the wait list, I got the call. My name had finally come up to get my first Play! by Sephora Monthly Beauty Subscription Box. The service is $10. a month and includes six mid tier to high end snack sized beauty goodies with which to Play! You never know what will come your way and half of the fun of a service like this is the surprise. Shall we take a tour of the box and the goodies contained within?

On my doorstep landed a smallish (a little bigger than a salad plate), square box decorated in Sephora's signature black and white stripes. I put one of my staging flowers on top in the first shot because address. Cut the spiffy, striped tape and lift the lid and you will see a large, folded sheet printed with the current month's theme and the products contained within and info about them. There is a card attached that entitles the holder to a free mini service in store and fifty additional points when a purchase is made. Tragically, I can't use the card, myself as Sephora still refuses to build a store for me, in my area. *sigh* *alas! alack!*

Under the info sheet is a woven fabric drawstring bag pulled with a black grosgrain ribbon. Each bag is printed with cute pictures and kisses in that month's theme which for July is Effortless Summer. Mmm... Popsicle!

How about a look see at the contents of the bag?

  • Ouai Wave Spray: A 5oz. spray is $26.00. I live in a nonstop battle royal with my wurls and I wonder, will this help? I'm excited to find out.
  • Benefit Dew the Hoola Soft Matte Liquid Bronzer. A full size is $28.00. I swatched this. Not sure about it, yet. I'll have to woman up and get it on my face.
  • Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer: The full size is $36.00. I have been wanting to try this primer for years, so this sample is welcome, indeed.
  • First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser: A 5oz. tube is $20.00. The claim is that this is good for all skin types, even dry. *knowing chuckle* Yeah... We'll see about that.
  • Beautyblender Blotterazzi: A mirrored compact and two blotting sponges is $20.00. I received one sponge and a sip sized sachet packet of the Blender Cleanser liquid sponge/brush cleaner. I am not oily and rarely have to blot but the little dude may come in handy in some way.
  • NEST Citrine: A 1.7 oz. Eau de Parfum spray is $68.00. I am not the biggest fan of NEST fragrances, as a rule. They are usually too "woody" for my taste. Citrine is "The dewy softness of lotus flower and freesia are set against sparkling citrus notes and hints of precious woods." Notes: Lemon Blossom, Lotus Flower, Freesia, Dew Drop Accord. Precious Woods. Style: Bright. Refreshing. Sparkling. Ya know what... I've tried a little of this sample, so far and it smells to me like a sun washed meadow. Soft, warm, fresh and gently floral and I don't detect the dreaded wood. I need to give it at least one more good try but so far, it's promising. Would I buy a rollerball or big bottle? Who knows what the future holds.

So there you have it, gentle reader. A rundown of my very first Play! By Sephora box. Overall, I'm pleased and I feel that I got my ten clam's worth, for sure. I am not stacking greasy BB's in a corner excited about this box, yet but almost all of my snack sized goodies will be happily consumed and I'm looking forward to August's offering. I'm hoping for some nice makeup type things, in addition to skin stuff. Just because I'm an old broad doesn't mean I just want skin care and ugly blue eye shadow. *I'm looking at you, Ipsy.*

Are you a recipient of Play! By Sephora Monthly Beauty Subscription service? What do you think of it, so far? Have you been/are you happy with it? If you're looking to partake, give us a click, head over and get on the wait list. Hopefully, your languish will be shorter than mine!

#LATHERUp //product sent for consideration//

LATHER Chia Seed & Passion Fruit Exfoliating Gel is a natural, gentle yet effective way to get fresher, smoother skin in a flash. Formulated with finely ground passion fruit seeds, jojoba oil beads, bromelain from pineapple and papain from papaya, this lovely stuff combines the power of natural chemical and physical exfoliation into one easy to use to use product.

LATHER Chia Seed and Passion Fruit Exfoliating Gel is so easy to use. After routine cleansing, I squeeze a little of the scrub onto my fingers and briskly massage it all over my face in circular motions, being careful to avoid my eyes, then rinse and pat dry. Easy-peasy. This scrub is a little on the "gentle" side for my skin for hardcore exfoliation but I love it for routine, maintenance work. Since I have been using this scrub, I don't need to use my tough stuff scrubs as often. This scrub has a light, earthy, natural scent but it isn't fragranced or perfumed. If you are sensitive or dislike scented products, you should be good with this one.

Glowing Summer Eyes and Cheeks with Mirabella Lighten Up Collection

If there is one great truism in my beauty life it is that I am an eye shadow junkie. Some makeup lovers are crazy for blushes, others have drawers full of foundations, for others it's lipsticks. I don't know what it is... I am just drawn to eye shadow. Powder or creme, singles to big palettes I am the sucker making wish lists and plotting how to get my greedy mitts on at least a few while I weep over the ones I can't have.

//products sent for consideration//

Mirabella Beauty makes one of my favorite creme eye shadows. Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadow definitely lives up to it's name and when I opened the little box of lovelies that Mirabella sent to me, I did a little happy dance when I saw these three beauties.

Packaged in sleek little acrylic jars with colour coordinated caps, each one also has a plastic inner seal. It is crucial that you not toss or lose that little inner seal. It is the magic of the madness. It protects the contents from air incursion and keeps these shadows soft and perfectly blendable for a long, long time. No joke... I still have my jar of Myth from Holiday '14 and it is just as fresh, smooth and beautiful as the day it landed on my doorstep.

I don't really know why I included this photograph... I think I'm just in love with it and a little gloaty that, if I put my little point and shoot camera at just the right distance and angle from my subject I can kind of mimic shots made by the beautiful DSLRs I dream of one day owning. Apparently I thought that you needed to know that.

Mirabella Visionary Long Wear Eye Shadows are spongy, bouncy, smooth and silky. They feel cool and hydrating to the touch and apply and blend on the lid like a dream. Visionary Eye Shadows can be applied and blended with fingers or synthetic shadow brushes. Once in place, the shadow sets for all day fade, crease and transfer proof wear for me. Don't let the cracks alarm you, they don't mean that the shadows are drying up. It is just the nature of this formula.

How about a little swatch action? Are these not pretty?

  • Imagine is a soft, very shimmery golden sandy bronze-y shade.
  • Charmed is a bright, blue based pink satin.
  • Vivid is a warm, satin coral with a gold fleck.

This eye look was so easy and quick to create. After a little lid primer, I used a synthetic shadow brush to apply Vivid all over my mobile lid and faded it up over my orbital bone. Then I wiped the brush off and used it to buff Imagine into my crease and blended it up into the Vivid on my orbital bone, then applied it to the outer V, inner corner and along under my lower lash line. I used a little ivory matte from some random palette under my brows. A little liner (we will be discussing this liner, in the near future) and finished with a generous coat of Lasting Lash Waterproof Mascara.

I am so pleased with these shadows. They are pretty, flattering on and easy to work with. What more could an eye shadow lover want?

Now, let's talk cheeks. One of my all time favorite Mirabella product is their Brilliant Mineral Highlighter. I received Glowing Coral to share with you and oh! Is it ever pretty!

Packaged in Mirabella's sleek, square black and clear acrylic compact is magic for your face.

A mineral based highlighter with Prismatech shimmer, this silky soft, ultra finely milled powder infuses my complexion with a whisper of coral and a glorious golden sheen. This is beautiful as a blush topper, a highlighter or as the softest, glowing blush. Oh, it's also really pretty as an easy wash of colour across the lids on fast face makeup days.

A swatch on the back of my hand. I am not doing this lovely product justice with my photographs. In person, the swatch was gently coral and golden and the whole look was like wet silk.

And here it is on my face. I applied it in a gradient from the mid-top line of my blush (Milani Coral Cove Matte Blush) up over to the top of my cheekbones. Again, my camera didn't catch the gorgeous, silken shine and glow. This is so very beautiful on the skin and I want to lob my camera for not doing it's job! The stupid thing did manage to make me look as if I took a bath in blush...

So, what say you, gentle reader? Do you like the look of the Mirabella Lighten Up Collection? If you like the products I showed, today or are perhaps craving the luscious goodies I shared, yesterday, I'm happy to tell you that they are all still available on Mirabella's website and selected products from this collection can also be found at Lovely Skin and Skin One. Beautiful Lips and Lashes with Mirabella Lighten Up Collection

//products provided for consideration//

Mirabella Beauty released one of the prettiest, oh-so-me collections I have seen, recently. The Lighten Up Collection for Spring is a handful of beautiful corals, pink and a hint of delicate golden bronze. Soft, washed and gently shimmery, this collection brightens up my face and lightens my mood.

I have several of the products from this collection but so many photographs and thoughts to share that I decided to break this up into a bit of a mini-series. This article will concentrate on luscious, pouty, soft lips and sweeping fans of lush, full lashes. Are you ready?

Mirabella Colour Vinyl Lipstick in Balmy Nectar is packaged in a chic, two tone black and silver plastic tube that has a twist and click closure that keeps it from becoming a messy missile in my bag. I like that. This full coverage lipstick featuring Berry Flux Vita, a raspberry extract offers moisturization while Argan Oil and Litchi Chinensis Fruit Extracts provide beautiful glide, comfort and rejuvenate the lips. Sensitive beauties rejoice! Free of fragrance, parabens and gluten, this is one made for most lippie, indeed.

Balmy Nectar is a lovely, somewhat pink leaning coral. Wearable and, I believe flattering to a wide variety of skin tones. This photograph shows the bullet a bit deeper than it is in person, my camera pulled it very pink.

INGREDIENTS (INGRÉDIENTS): Octyldodecanol, Diisostearyl Malate, Synthetic Wax, Trimethylolpropane Triisostearate, Polyurethane-42, Isododecane, Isohexadecane, Polyglyceryl-2 Isostearate/Dimer Dilinoleate Copolymer, Hexyldecanol, Hydroxypropylcellulose Stearyl Carbamate, Hydrogenated Styrene/Methyl Styrene/Indene Copolymer, Dicalcium Phosphate, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-Di-t-Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Glycerin, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Litchi Chinensis Fruit Extract, Water, Acacia Senegal Gum, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tin Oxide MAY CONTAIN (PEUT CONTENIR): Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499), Carmine (CI 75470), Red 6 (CI 15850), Red 7 (CI 15850), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Red 28 Lake (CI 45410), Red 30 Lake (CI 73360), Red 33 Lake (CI 17200), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Yellow 6 Lake (CI 15985)

Mirabella Colour Vinyl Lipstick in Balmy Nectar on my lips. The blue-red of my natural lip tone pulls this lipstick to a very pink-coral.

Application of this lipstick is a delight. Soft, silken smooth, the bullet glides across the lips with no drag or tugging. A few easy strokes gives full coverage and a glossy finish. Slippy and very hydrating, this lipstick is gorgeously comfortable to wear and it makes my lips look fresh and oh-so-pretty. Wear time, contrary to Mirabella's claim of up to ten hours of wear is not stellar. I have to refresh this on a regular basis. I don't mind, it's easy enough to smack on when needed. Those of you with those vertical lip lines we all enjoy so much (yeah, that was sarcasm) don't forget your clear barrier pencil. If I forget mine, this lipstick is perfectly happy to bolt it's confines and start crawling off into parts unknown.

Overall, I am desperately in love with Mirabella Colour Vinyl Lipstick in Balmy Nectar and I'm wiling to bet that if you tried it, you would be, too.

Let us discuss mascara. Specifically, waterproof mascara. Now, I don't know about you but waterproof mascara annoys the living daylights out of me. While it does hold a curl better than it's non waterproof cousin, I always have trouble with it clumping and removal is a nightmare. A lot of remover or oil, a long time rubbing and tugging and a lot of lost lashes to get it all off. No. Just, no.

Until now. May I present to you Mirabella Lasting Lash Waterproof Mascara? Holy cats, gentle reader! I mean... Holy cats! Yassss! Finally!

Mirabella calls this "The mascara that does it all. Waterproof formula volumizes, curls, builds and lengthens lashes while remaining soft and flexible." And you know what? They ain't lying. This is the only waterproof mascara that I have ever. EVER liked. Let me share with you why.

A slender, slightly tapered bristle wand picks up just the right amount of this deeply black, not too wet, not too goopy formula and deposits it smoothly and evenly. This mascara builds lovely volume and enhances length to create a fluttery fan of lashes easily and in little time, at all. I am not, as a rule a multiple coat mascara person. I don't know why. I like to apply one good coat and be done and this mascara goes right along with my plan.

Just look at that soft, full, clump free fan of lashes. With one generous coat! All day wear with no transferring, no smudging, not even the tiniest flake to be seen. And when it's time to take it off, grab some bi-phase micellar water or eye makeup remover and a couple of cotton pads. Hold a saturated but not dripping cotton pad to the eye for a few seconds then gently work the mascara away. While this formula doesn't remove as readily as non waterproof, it is astonishingly easy to get rid of without tugging, rubbing too hard or lash loss.

Like my eye shadow? Watch this space.

Mirabella Lasting Lash Waterproof Mascara is the real deal. If you like waterproof mascara but you dislike battling with it, you need to try this one. It really is that good. I hope that Mirabella is still carrying this when I need another tube of waterproof, some day. I'd buy it, in a heartbeat.

Get Glowing and Soft Skin With Farmhouse Fresh Sweet Tea Whipped Shea Butter Body Polish

 I have very dry skin from scalp to toes and I can slather on creams. lotions and body butters all day long but if I don't do something to slough off the dry surface cells, all of those moisturizers don't do me much good. I need to exfoliate on a regular basis to keep my skin feeling and looking it's very best.

//product sent for consideration//

One trick I regularly perform to get soft, glowing, healthy skin is manual exfoliation. This crucial skin care step utilizes massaging small, rough bits of seeds, shells, plants, salt, sugar, even gemstones suspended in a base rich in slippy, hydrating goodness in a circular motion to break that last bond holding old, useless skin cells to the skin's surface and sweep them away while leaving behind a fine film of moisture and velvety, plumped, silky skin.

One scrub I am currently loving... and I do mean, loving is Farmhouse Fresh Sweet Tea "The Scrub" Whipped Shea Butter Body Polish

Farmhouse Fresh Sweet Tea Whipped Shea Butter Body Polish is packaged in a big, shower-safe plastic tub with a nice, wide mouth for easy access to the grainy goodness.

Lift the lid and inhale the Southern sweet tea scent spiked with peach, ginger, orchid and delicate white tea. Dip in and pick up a dollop, feeling the fine, yet powerful sugar and powdered peach stone grains swimming in a thick, gluey-bouncy base of whipped shea butter and natural oils. Apply to the skin and massage briskly to polish and rejuvenate then rinse away to revel in velvety soft, hydrated yet clean feeling skin.

This is a perfect pre-sunless tanner scrub as it delivers beautifully smooth, exfoliated skin that feels hydrated without an oily film that can interfere with an even, natural looking application.

What delights me most about this scrub is how well it exfoliates my skin yet is gentle enough for people with sensitive skin to get their buff on, too. If you have sensitive skin, check out Honey's review of this product.
