Wink Lash & Brow Enhancing Oil | Buy One ~ Give One for the Cure in October

//product provided for editorial purposes//

We all do it. We abuse our lashes by applying thick, suffocating coats of mascara, we glue on heavy fans of false lashes and drown the roots with liquid, gel and pencil eye liners. And our brows... Oh, the torment! We pluck and wax and tweak and shave then we use waxy pencils, dusty powders and gooey pomades to fill them in, enhance and build those "picture perfect brows" we all covet. Come bedtime, we yank and rub and scrub and lather and slather, go to sleep, get up and do it all over, the next day. Our beauty routines can take a toll on our lashes and brows.

It is no wonder that our lashes can end up stubby and thin and we experience a lot of lash loss. And our poor brows! Can we talk? Happily, there is Wink Lash & Brow Enhancing Oil a vegan oil blend created to help restore the natural beauty of our lashes and brows.

In these little brush tipped clicky pen dispensers is a blend of Castor, Himalayan Cherry, Kukui, Argon, Jojoba, Sunflower and other natural oils that when used consistently can condition, improve and help lashes and or brows to grow in thicker, longer and more lush. I have been using Wink on my lashes and brows once a day for a few months now and my eye lashes are thicker, stronger, silkier and I'm losing far, far fewer lashes than I used to! My lashes do look a little bit longer, but since they are a respectable length, naturally I wasn't expecting them to suddenly go on a dramatic growth spurt. Tho... If they had, I certainly wouldn't have been mad about it.

I am less consistent about application of Wink to my brows and honestly, this isn't doing much for them and I wasn't expecting it to. I have noticed that the skin on my eye lids is softer and a tiny bit smoother and I don't have so much flakiness of the skin under my brows and what brow hair I do have appears to be softer and healthier. My extremely sensitive eyes don't experience any irritation from Wink. I do get that slightly bleary oil on my eyeballs thing for a little while after application. It isn't painful and it doesn't last too long. All in all, I am experiencing good results from this gentle product and I'm satisfied with it.

Please remember, when you read testimonials about products like this, everyone's results vary. I know that some users get more lash length, others have experienced a resurgence of brow growth and thickness. It just depends on the individual and how each reacts to the ingredients and how consistent they are in their use.

Wink is easy to apply. Just prime the little clicky pen by twisting the back end until the oil comes up through the brush and a little bubble of oil appears at the tips of the bristles. (I didn't prime my photo sample, as I have one going and I didn't want to start this one until the other runs out.) Touch the soft, synthetic bristles to your lid, dispensing a fine bead or tiny droplets along the lash line. Gently rub or pat the oil into your lash line. You can repeat by pushing a little more into the brush and applying to your brows, if you choose.

Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Himalayan Cherry/Dhatelo Seed (Prinsepia Utilis Oil), Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Seed Oil, Rubus idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil , Punica Granatum (Pomegrenate) Seed Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Glycerin, Sodium Levulinate, Sodium Anisate.

Now, here is where things get special. All through the month of October, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month; for every tube of Wink Lash & Brow Enhancing Oil you purchase for yourself, Amalie Beauty will donate one tube to a cancer warrior who has lost their eye lashes and brows to chemotherapy treatment. This is a perfect way to do something special for yourself while you do something so extraordinarily special for someone else.

Wink is Vegan and Cruelty Free. The packaging and container are recyclable. Follow Amalie Beauty on Twitter, stalk them on Instagram.

This post is dedicated in loving memory to Letitia Ellsworth. 11/10/42 - 11/11/13 I love you Mom. I miss you, every day.
