The Best Face Masks for Dry Skin ~ Makeup Wars

This go round, the Makeup Wars bloggers are sharing Masks! Face masks. Eye masks. Hair masks. Latex... Oh, wait. Different subject for another day.

Winter is brutal to my dry skin and I rely on face masks to help me keep the worst effects of dry, cold air and indoor heating at a minimum. When it comes to face masks for my dry skin, I stick to the three "ions." Exfoliation. Rejuvenation. Hydration. These three keywords makes choosing face masks easy; as long as I see them on the label, I know that that mask is most likely going to work for my skin. Most of the masks I'm sharing are great for multi masking. For example, I like to put cream mask on my cheeks and forehead, use a hydrating clay mask on my nose and chin and eye patch masks under my peepers. Specialized care for each zone for optimal results. How amazing is that?

Good face masks don't have to cost a fortune. Most of the masks in this post are reasonably priced, some less than ten dollars each. All of them are easy to find either locally or online and, as they have all been put through their paces by my very dry, maturing skin, are proven to work! So grab a warm beverage, settle in and let me share with you my picks for the best face masks for dry skin.

//press sample//self purchased//affiliate links that pay me a small commission and help support my site are in use//

When my skin is looking and feeling dry, a bit rough and flaky and the texture isn't exactly what I would like, I look to exfoliation, both chemical and physical to slough off dead skin and one great way to complete this little skin care task is with a good face mask. AHA and other fruit acids, clay, natural botanicals, scrubby bits... I enjoy the job when I can combine it with a little down time!

Rose Clay and Sea Kelp Powder are what I like to call kitchen sink DIY masks because I can mix them with water, rose water, add a little honey, aloe gel and or face oil to give my skin a purifying deep clean while hydrating and soothing. Toss in some sea salt and I can really power polish my face or other places smooth.

Valentia Advanced Skin Detoxifying Clay Mask comes in a big tub and should last about a decade. All joking aside, tho, if you're not into beauty kitchen witchery, this is a good all around cleansing, exfoliating, detoxifying mask that leaves my complexion glowing and soft.

LATHER 10 Minute Brightening Mask with Glycolic Acid. Gentle reader, this mask is no joke. That 10% Glycolic means business and gets the job done. This stuff tingles and stings and eats away all of the stuff you don't want hanging around. If you have sensitive skin or are unused to using AHAs, do a tolerance test before you go all in and start slow. If your face is acid tolerant as mine is, grab this stuff and rock and roll. The results are real.

Some of my favorite clay - cream get the job done masks come from Farm House Fresh:

Pudding Apeel is a delicious, sweet tapioca scented cream mask that smells good enough to eat. Don't do that! Formulated with Glycolic Acid, this mask is not quite as hardore as the LATHER, above but it is effective.

Splendid Dirt is a nutrient mud mask with natural pumpkin puree. This is another one that smells disarmingly delicious but it is not meant to be spooned and gobbled up. I smear this pumpkin pie delight all over my face, kick back for twenty minutes or so, rinse it off and hello! Brighter, smoother face! I am running out of my mini, I need a full sized jar. Like, STAT.

Peat Perfection is an enriched peat purification mask that purifies, balances, calms and leaves my skin feeling delightfully fresh and soft. Because this mask balances the complexion, it is good for just about every skin type, oily to dry. Give it a try. Wow. I'm a poet and I didn't know it.

Guac Star is a creamy soft, hydrating and soothing mask that penetrates deep to calm and hydrate my skin. I want to pick up a full size of this one, soon.

Hydration. My skin craves it like I crave coffee. And, rather like me, if denied my precious, dark Nectar of the Gods, my skin will pitch a major bitch should it not get what it needs.

Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Hydrating Treatment Mask. I'm running low on this baby and will need to order a new one, soon. I've been hoarding what I have left but it is time to go ahead and use it up before the unthinkable happens and I have to toss it. This lovely, unscented, white cream mask is so moisturizing and comforting. My skin loves this stuff.

StriVectin Revitalizing Mask seems to no longer be available so we'll just pretend that I didn't neglect my research and it isn't in my picture, above.

Moving on...

Yes to Coconut Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask. Like coconut? Got dry skin? Get you a tube of this stuff. Seriously, you'll love how your skin feels after you use this mask.

The Body Shop Ethiopian Honey Deep Nourishing Mask. Dude. I was really hoping that this stuff would smell like honey. Not so much. But it is lovely and hydrating and makes my skin soft and happy. So I guess I can live without the yummy scent.

Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask is some weird, gelatinous stuff. Mustard yellow of colour, odd of scent, it is so. very. hydrating and soothing. I like this stuff in the summer because it feels very cooling and refreshing, as it moisturizes my skin.

Exuviance Overnight Recovery Masque. This gorgeous, spendy stuff is worth it's ask as it performs brilliantly. When my skin is stressed, extra dry and screaming at me at a pitch only dogs can hear, this cool, green gel smooths into my skin under my usual moisturizer and sinks in while I sleep so that I awake with a soft, plumped, calmed complexion.

Ahhh... Sheet masks! How I loooove you! Of all of my masks, sheet masks are my favorite. Okay, two in this picture aren't sheet masks but they are in the same kind of packaging and I couldn't leave them in with the tubes and jars, they kept yelling that these two couldn't sit with them and I had to put them, here. Let's get them out of the way, first. Shall we?

Montagne Jeunesse Creamy Coconut Mask. I lay out two bucks and I get a coconut scented, natural mask with real coconut water, gentle white clay and Shea Butter that hydrates and makes my skin feel amazingly soft. The packet gives one very generously thick mask or two thinner, no less lovely treatments. I'm greedy. I use it all at once. Hot Spring Sauna is a light orange-tan mask that gets all lovely and warm as it is applied. Packed with good, scrubby stuff, it polishes my skin smooth as it detoxifies and lightly hydrates. Is anyone else creeped out by the fruits and flowers over the models' eyes on the packages? Or is that just me?

Masqueology Cream Masks. I am a huge fan of these extremely affordable, effective sheet masks. One dollar. A buck. Don't let the price fool ya. These masks are drenched in hydrating, creamy stuff and make my skin feel lovely and they smell nice, too. And, they're only a dollar!

Naisture 15 Minute Collagen Essence Sheet Mask - White Rose. A package of ten of these (sadly) unscented - I was really hoping that they would smell like rose - is only $10.15 and they are so nice! Soothing, hydrating and brightening. Dude, if you love sheet masks, are on a budget but want to stock up, this is your play.

Sephora Collection Sheet Masks. Different "flavors" for different skin types. Beautifully, lightly scented. So. Effective! These are masks I refuse to be without. They are just that good. And at only six dollars a piece, they are affordable enough to stock up on and keep around for pamper/spa days or just when you need a little TLC. Rose is of course, my favorite. I also love OrchidLotusAvocado and dammit! They're not making Honey, any more? Really? Okay, then. I need to pick up Pearl and Algae to try, next time I stock up. Which I usually do during the VIB sales. Discount! Yes!

Boscia Tsubaki Oil Deep Hydration Hydrogel Mask. This mask is the best eight dollars I've ever spent. I kid you not! I took this pic of the package after I used it so it looks ragged. Sorry, not sorry. This mask is fucking amazing. It's a two piece, applied to the upper them lower part of the face. It looks freaky on but it is so deeply hydrating that my skin felt exquisitely moisturized and was silky soft and plumped for days. Next Sephora order, Mama's getting herself some more of these!

Eye masks. I love to use these along with sheet or cream/clay masks. Multi masking at it's finest!

VII Code O2M Oxygen Eye Mask. I cleanse, attach these under my eyes, apply moisturizer to the rest of my face and hit the sack. Wake up to smoother, fresher, softer skin under my eyes and my developing crows feet diminished. These babies are pricey so I don't use them as often as I'd like but when my eyes really need a treat, this is what they get.

Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment Masque. These little patches are soaked with eye area refreshing, soothing, brightening, softening goodness. I love to layer these under other masks so that I'm treating my face and my eye area, at the same time. Efficiency in motion. Take notes.

Sephora Collection Eye Masks. At five clams a treatment, these are not exactly cheap but they are affordable enough as well as lovely and effective. I love how big these babies are! They cover my entire under eye area, extending out and up, to cover my crows feet area and up onto my upper lids, helping to hydrate and lift there, too. Astonishing creatures! The rose smells rosy but doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes. I'm into the Rose and Lotus, by the way.

There you have it, gentle reader. My best face masks for dry skin. What do you think of my suggestions? Are any of these among your favorites? Are there any that you love that you'd recommend I try? I'm always down to try a new mask.

My Favorite Facial Oils for Dry Skin -- Makeup Wars

//press samples//self purchased//affiliate links that pay me a small commission and help support this site are in use//

As a dry skinned American, facial oils are a crucial component of my skin care arsenal. Today, I'm sharing seven of my favorite, pure natural oils and blends that I like to use to help keep my complexion soft and hydrated all year around.

Pure jojoba oil. In my opinion, everyone should have a nice, big bottle of this stuff hanging around. It isn't expensive and it is extremely versatile. I can cleanse with it, use it as a moisturizer, as a pre wash deep treatment for my hair and after washing to seal in moisture and add shine. I use jojoba oil as a cuticle oil, an after shower body oil...

I usually buy Desert Essence. It's so good and at only ten dollars for a big, four ounce bottle, it will last for quite a long time. I like to decant some of the oil from my big bottle into a smaller dropper or pump bottle then toss my big bottle in my fridge to extend the shelf life of my oil. Jojoba hardens under refrigeration and returns to it's perfect self when allowed to sit out and warm back up.

Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil. How do I love thee, pure, organic Moroccan argan oil? Let me count the ways. This rich golden oil deeply hydrates my very dry skin and nourishes my cuticles.

Sibu Sea Berry Seed Oil. An Omega 7 powerhouse is pressed from the Himalayan Turkestanica Sea Berry. Created to soothe, calm and aid problem skin, this lightweight oil drops instantly into my skin, hydrates, calms and reduces redness.

Shine Brightening Face Oil. With it's gorgeous jasmine scent and mix of pomegranate, bearberry, argan, jojoba and other natural oils, this is one of my all time favorite face oils. It deeply hydrates my skin and it smells amazing! If you're curious about this oil, Amalie Beauty now offers sample vials so that you can try, before investing in a full size.

Organic Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Oil, Organic Argania Spinosa (Argan) Oil, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Oil, Helianthus Annuus Sunflower (Seed) Oil, Organic Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Peel Oil, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf (Bearberry) Extract, Sambucus Nigra (Elderberry) Fruit Extract, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit Seed) Oil, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Oil.

PurErb Purity Renewing Facial Oil combines dilo, macadamia, argan, abyssinian, juniper, tea tree, carrot seed and patchouli oils for a refreshing and pampering experience.

Calophyllum Inophyllum (Dilo) Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Crambe Abyssinica Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Juniperus Communis (Juniper) Berry Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Santalum Spicatum (Sandalwood) Oil, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Seed Oil, Geranium Maculatum Oil, Stearyl Glycyrrhetinate, Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Oil, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Oil, Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense) Oil, Rosa Centifolia Flower Oil.

Get a little luxe with Borghese Fango Active Radiance Facial Oil, a crystal clear composition of sweet almond, grapeseed, avocado oils as well as Vitamins E, C and A and polyphenols that hydrates and softens my skin and adds a dose of antioxidant protection.

Sunday Riley Flora Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil is a luxurious blend of Russian, Bulgarian and Turkish red roses in a rich botanical oil blend. This golden oil has a soft, warm, natural, nutty scent that I have come to absolutely adore. I like to use it as a sole moisturizer, layered over my regular moisturizer to deeply hydrate my complexion and the tiniest drop, on a soft brush makes a simply sumptuous cuticle oil. This oil is spendy but in my opinion, it is worth every penny.

Rosa Centifolia (French Rose De Mai) Oil, Rosa Damascena (Bulgarian Rose Otto) Oil, Rosa Damascena (Turkish Rose Otto) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens (Rose Geranium) Oil, Cymbopogon Martini (Wildcrafted Palma Rosa) Oil], Persea Americana (Organic Avocado) Seed Oil, Punica Granatum (Organic Pomegranate) Seed Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Organic Wild Carrot) Seed Oil, Salvia Hispanica (Organic Chia) Seed Oil, Solanum Lycopersicum (Organic Tomato) Seed Oil, Rosa Mosqueta (Organic Rosehip) Seed Oil.

Do you use facial oils? Do you have a favorite that works for your skin type? Please do share.

This is a collaboration with my fellow Makeup Wars bloggers. Take a little time to visit their blogs and read about their favorite facial oils.

Play! By Sephora Beauty Subscription Box for January

//affiliate links that pay me a small commission that benefits my site are in use//

My Play! by Sephora Beauty Subscription box for January was a pretty good one!

January's theme is Beauty, Set, Go! The bag is a synthetic mesh and plastic-y stuff with a bright orange ribbon tie and "Sweat is Just Another Way to Glow" printed on it. I know it's a whole New Year's Resolution thing but please, don't give me sweat talk on my beauty bag. Ick.

There were six products in this box. One is not in this photo; a blister pack of the Amore Pacific Cushion Foundation. It contains chemical sunscreen, which is on my No Fly List and I passed it along before I took these pictures. Other than the no-go foundation samples, the items in my box are all things I was excited to try.

OUAI Treatmet Masque. 8 X 0.3 oz Treatments, $32.00. I literally opened the bag, pulled this tube out, squealed with excitement, took my hair down and applied the contents to my tresses and put it back up to "marinate" overnight. In the morning, I washed my hair and it. felt. incredible. I want a full size of this stuff. I want a fifty-five gallon drum of this stuff! I do wish that the full size were a big tube, not tiny foil packettes. I have longish, thick hair and I'd run through those packettes alarmingly fast!

Tarte Frxxxtion Stick Exfoliating Cleanser, 1 oz. $22.00. I honestly wasn't expecting much from this multitasking cleansing/exfoliating balm/gel/scrubby stuff. The grains are very fine and I thought, when I was testing it out that there was no. way. that such fine scrubbies would give my skin the level of exfoliation it demands. Boy, was I ever wrong! When I rinsed it off and patted my face dry, my complexion was sparkling fresh and clean and felt as smooth as satin. And, it didn't leave my skin feeling dried out or stripped. HUGE plus. Buy a full size? I'd strongly consider it. Maybe I'll grab one during the spring VIB sale.

Clinique Almost Lipstick - Black Honey, $17.00. This cult classic Clinique lippie claims to be universal, flattering all skin tones. I was skeptical. I mean, look at it! It's alarmingly dark, in the tube. Ah, but apply it. The texture is balmy and smooth, imparting a tint that makes my lips look berry or wine stained and yes... The shade is very flattering! Wear time is short, requiring touch ups from time to time but it's easy enough to smack on even without a mirror and not mess it up. This lippie is comfortable and doesn't dry out my very delicate, fussy lips. Would I go for a full size? Yeah. I think I would.

Youth to the People Kale + Spinach + Hyaluronic Acid Age Prevention Cream, 2 oz. 48.00. This palest green gel creme formula moisturizer arrived in a petite glass jar. There seems to be enough to give me a good idea whether or not this would work for me. I haven't had a chance to try it, yet as I am wear testing something else, right now but I'll let ya know how it performs when I get to it. I am encouraged as it contains beneficial botanicals and Hyaluronic Acid, one of my skin's power ingredients.

Tory Burch Love Relentlessly, price varies. This beautiful, vivacious floral combines notes of Pink Pepper, Rose, Orris and Sandalwood that delights my senses. I'm not a huge fan of woods but I do like Sandalwood, in controlled doses and this fragrance contains just the right amount. I like this scent so much and I want a big bottle of it!

So, there we have it, folks. January Play! by Sephora is a hit, overall. The "bonus" Amore Pacific foundation sample was a non starter but the rest of the products I have/will use and enjoy and there are a couple that I definitely want to repurchase.

Play! by Sephora Monthly Beauty Subscription Box is $10.00 a month and is as easy to get started as supplying your e-mail address. There is a waiting list but it shouldn't be too long. The service bills to the credit/debit card you keep on file with your Sephora account. While I have had a box or two that didn't make my socks roll up and down; overall I am very pleased with the products I have been receiving and I am happy to continue my subscription for the time being.

Do you subscribe to Play! by Sephora? What do you think of the service and the products you have been receiving? If you don't subscribe, do you think that you may? Please do tell.

Renew Your Complexion at Home with the Exuviance Performance Peel AP 25

//product sent for editorial consideration//affiliate links that help support my site are in use//

Exuviance, the innovators of the original Glycolic Peel offers us the opportunity to renew our complexion at home with the Performance Peel AP 25.

I am a believer in the power of Glycolic Acid. When I want to deeply exfoliate, brighten and refine my skin's texture as well as bump up the softness quotient, fast I go for Glycolic. Exuviance Performance Peel AP 25 is an easy, quick, two step peel that gives me the results I want without having to book appointments or lay out a lot of money.

Exuviance Performance Peel AP 25 combines 25% Glycolic Acid, Mendalic Acid and Gluconolactone to exfoliate dull surface layers and dive deeper to enhance cell renewal to reveal fresher, smoother, younger looking skin.

In clinical studies, after one month of twice weekly use, 100% of users saw improvement in fine lines and wrinkles and 94% saw more even skin tone, texture and radiance.

Activator Pads: Aqua (Water), Mandelic Acid, Glycolic Acid, Gluconolactone, Ammonium Hydroxide, Arginine, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Chlorphenesin, Methylparaben, Sodium Bisulfite.

Neutralizer Pads: Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Glycine, Benzalkonium Chloride.

This peel is so quick easy to use. If I have a spare ten or fifteen minutes, I have time to do a peel! After cleansing, I open the little packet marked Step 1. I forgot to take pictures of the pads, out of their packets for this post, if you'd like to see what they look like, I have a picture on my Instagram.  This activator pad contains the peel ingredients and this is where the magic happens.

I smooth the pad over my skin, being careful to not get too close to my eyes and avoiding my lips and take it down over my jaw just short of my neck. I skip my neck and apply to my decollete and the last bit, all over the backs of my hands. I won't lie to you, this stuff stings. It isn't awful or what I would consider painful but it makes it's self felt for a few moments. The sting is of course, more pronounced when I exfoliate, first but again, it isn't unbearable. As long as you aren't too sensitive, it is okay to use this peel after exfoliating.

Now, I get to kick back and let the peel do it's thing for ten minutes. Once the time has passed, it's time to neutralize. I open packet 2 and smooth it on everywhere I applied Step 1. A rinse, pat dry and wow! Skin as smooth as glass. Sometimes, I follow this peel up with a deeply hydrating sheet mask for a one-two power punch that cools and soothes my skin and takes my complexion to the next level.

Results? Do I look like a teenager, again? Nope. Does my skin look and feel pretty freaking incredible? Are my fine lines and wrinkles diminished a bit? Is my tone brighter and more even? Texture smoother, with pores that appear smaller and cleaner? Oh, yeah! And the feeling lasts a good week or more. My skin treatments and moisturizer sink in and work even better and my makeup goes on, looks and wears so beautifully. I like the Exuviance Performance Peel AP 25 so much! Seriously, gentle reader. It is so good and you need to try it!

Don't forget that with use of a peel, you will be exposing fresh, new skin to the big, bad world and all of it's environmental hazards; the biggest of which is UV exposure from the sun. Be sure that you protect your complexion with a broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen, every day.

Are you ready to take the #peelchallenge? You can find this peel and all of the results driven skin care you could possibly want from Exuviance and Ulta Beauty. Visit on Facebook, follow them on Twitter and stalk them on Instagram for the latest info.

Calm Your Mind and Rejuvenate Your Body with LATHER Aromatherapy

If you're wondering what the hell going on with my blog layout, all I can say is... Right now, I don't know. I got sick of looking at the layout and I want to do something new. The thing is, I couldn't stand to look at it, any longer the way it was so I stripped it down to the studs and my blog is currently living in this stark, minimal shell while I flip flop and dither over a new look. Want to know a secret? I'm kind of digging how clean and quiet it is. I like how my photographs take center stage and I love the delicate hints of pink in my links. I don't know... Maybe I'll install some black or pale pink social media buttons and a zephyr of pink accent and call it good. What do you think? Is this old blog clean and easy on the eyeballs or is it stark and devoid of character?

Like you came here to read my angst over my template layout.

Okay. Back on topic.

//products were provided to me for editorial consideration//

Lather recently sent me a beautifully curated collection of products to help me forget my busy, stressful day; relax tense, sore muscles and soften my skin while instilling a sense of well being and I thought I'd share them with you, today.

I wanted to take this picture with the incredible Lavender Aromatherapy Candle lit but I can no longer brain and I keep forgetting to pick up a candle lighter. 100% soy wax, a beeswax primed, pure cotton wick, natural lavender essential oil and lavender flower petals are poured into a limited edition frosted glass jar and topped with a shiny, silvery lid. This candle is as lovely to look at as it smells. Lather's soy candles burn so clean and evenly, deliver good scent throw and impart a soft, warm glow to my surroundings.

Add a couple of heaping tablespoons of Muscle Ease Bath Salts to a nice, warm bath and let the mineral rich combination of Himalayan pink salt and Epsom salt infused with eucalyptus and spearmint essential oils work together to soothe you, body and mind. The biggest fan of these salts in this household is my husband. After an especially hard or stressful day at work, he likes to relax and decompress in a hot bath and he has commandeered this jar for his own. I'm happy to let him have it; we all need a little something special just for us.

himalayan pink sea salt, sea salt, magnesium sulfate (epsom salt), eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, citrus aurantifolia (lime) oil, mentha viridis (spearmint) leaf oil, sambucus nigra (elderberry) flower extract, glycerin

Blue Chamomile Foaming Bath Treatment is just the thing to help me destress and sleep better, especially after a stressful day. A few caps full of this creamy, foaming bath treatment imparts skin loving botanicals like oat extract and moringa and coconut oils as well as amino acids that soothe and soften my skin while aromatherapeutic blue chamomile, blue tansy and lavender essential oils help to calm and quiet my busy mind.

Body oil is a beauty product that I rely on to help keep my very dry skin soft and healthy and if it includes aromatherapy qualities as well, I am all for it. Balancing Sea Kelp Body Oil with Evening Primrose is a luxurious combination of evening primrose, rosehip and grapeseed oils deeply soften and renew my skin. Seaweed oil detoxifies while a mix of bois de rose, geranium and thyme essential oils present a warm, relaxing aroma that instills a feeling of well being. I like to massage this oil into my skin directly after I step out of my shower while my skin is still wet then pat dry and enjoy softly scented, smooth, comforted skin.

The scent of this golden oil is pretty powerful, straight out of the bottle but it dissipates and softens once it's on the skin.

vitis vinifera (grapeseed) oil, bois de rose, vertivert, panax ginseng, hypericum perforatum (St. John's wort) oil, ocimum basilicum (basil), persea gratissima (avocado) oil, geranium, algae pheophycea (seaweed) oil, thymus vulgaris (thyme), rosa canina (rosehip) oil, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, tocopheryl acetate, CAB oxy K (caprylic/capric triglyceride, PEG-8 and tocopherol and ascorbyl palmitate and ascorbic acid and citric acid)

Day & Night Duo. Two tins of aromatherapy balms that help promote a sense of well being and balance, around the clock.

Revive & Thrive Awakening Balm can help awake and revive my senses when I'm feeling that mid afternoon lag or having trouble kicking it out of second gear, despite multiple cups of coffee in the morning. An uplifting combination of rosemary, clary sage, eucalyptus and spearmint clarify my mind and refresh my senses while the sweet citrus scent of mandarin orange imparts a bit of happiness and cheer.

The Quiet Night Relaxing Balm helps me to wind down, calm down and get ready for a relaxing evening and a good night's sleep. Hey, with my crappy sleep patterns, I can use all of the help I can get! A soothing mix of lavender, ylang ylang and calendula essential oils go right to my senses and I can immediately feel the tension lift.

Day & Night Duo balms are made with natural ingredients that moisturize my skin without ever feeling heavy or greasy. I touch my finger to the surface and the balm instantly starts to melt from the warmth of my skin. I can then tap it in on my forehead, temples or the back of my neck. If I'm feeling especially wound up, a little of the Quiet Night Relaxing balm right under my nose almost instantly chills me out.
