My Top Four Derma-E Skin Care Hydrating and Firming Favorites 1

My Name is Erika and I am a Little Obsessed With Skin Care

One thing I love about being a beauty blogger is all of the skin care that I get to try. It is my great privilege to play with a wide variety of products from many brands in price points ranging from affordable to extravagant and if I've learned one thing, it is that price doesn't always inform quality.

lifted and more youthful looking peepers

They say that the eyes are the windows to our soul. Thanks to their very mobile nature and the thin, delicate skin in that area they are also most prone to show the earliest visible signs of aging. Enter the Derma-E Firming DMAE Eye Lift, $24.95 for 0.5 oz/14 g. This doctor developed peeper prettifier is full of brightening, lifting and hydrating goodness like Hyaluronic Acid to pull moisture deep into the skin while power Antioxidants and Peptides like InstaLift® and Gogi Berry Glycopeptides as well as Argireline®, Matrixyl® and Synth'6® work together to make the eye area look and feel firmer while fine lines appear reduced and smoother. Witch Hazel can help soothe and depuff tired and stressed under eyes. This eye cream is helping my eye area to look smoother and hydrated and I can feel the firming. This unscented eye cream doesn't irritate my vary sensitive eyes.

treat, hydrate and restore

My very dry, maturing complexion can use all of the help it can get from moisturizers that are packed to the rafters with active ingredients and the Derma-E Skin Restore Advanced Peptides and Collagen Moisturizer, $35.00 for 2.0 oz/56 g  is a big help. This rich moisturizer doubles down on skin restoration with deeply hydrating natural Jojoba Oil, Multi Peptides, Matrixyl®, Synthe '6® and Argireline® as well as Pycnogenol® - a powerful plant antioxidant - to deliver skin improving actives where they are most needed. With consistent use, fine lines and wrinkles are plumped, skin looks smoother and feels velvety soft and it has a lovely, healthy glow. I like to layer this moisturizer over the Firming DMAE Moisturizer for a strong, anti aging one-two punch. This cream has a little bit of fragrance but it's very light and it doesn't linger.

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Glycerin (Vegetable Derived), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Vegetable Derived), Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil, Stearic Acid (Vegetable Derived), Cetyl Alcohol (Plant Derived), Glyceryl Stearate (Vegetable Derived), Hydroxypropyl Cyclodextrin, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38 (Matrixyl® synthe’6®), Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (Argireline®NP), Panthenol (Provitamin B5), Pinus Pinaster (Pycnogenol®) Bark Extract, Acacia Seyal Gum Extract (Plant Derived Collagen), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Ester), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut) Seed Extract, Organic Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Extract*, Organic Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract*, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Allantoin, Dimethicone, Xanthan Gum,  Zinc Oxide, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

a fresher and firmer complexion

Derma-E Firming DMAE Moisturizer, $22.50 for 2.0 oz/56 g  So does it really? Firm skin? Well... With active ingredients like DMAE, Alpha Lipoic Acid, C Ester Plus, Vitamins A and E, it sure feels as if it does! And thanks to Jojoba Oil, it hydrates nicely, too. When I use this cream, I can feel the firming effect and call me crazy but when I look in the mirror, my face, especially along the tops of my cheekbones, my cheeks and a bit along my jawline does look a little firmer, a bit more youthful. In my assessment, consistent use is key and realistic expectations will serve the user well. This cream isn't making me look 25, again. Dude, if it did, I'd buy cases of it and slather it on, hair line to soles, every day! But yeah, this is good stuff and I suggest that you give it a whirl. This cream has a light scent but it dissipates quickly.

DMAE and Alpha Lipoic Acid can cause reactions for some people. If you have sensitive skin or have never tried skin care containing these active ingredients, you may want to do a patch test before using this moisturizer.

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Glycerin (Vegetable Derived), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Plant Derived), Stearyl Alcohol (Plant Derived), Cetyl Alcohol (Plant Derived), Stearic Acid (Vegetable Derived), Glyceryl Stearate Citrate (Vegetable Derived), Glyceryl Stearate SE, Thioctic (Alpha Lipoic) Acid, Polysorbate 20, Dimethyl MEA (DMAE), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C Ester), Panthenol (Provitamin B5), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Dimethicone, Allantoin, Polysorbate 60, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Natural Fragrance Oils.

lovely lavender oil

Derma-E Rejuvenating Sage and Lavender Face Oil, $16.50 for 1.0 oz/30 mL  I really like this lightweight, gently lavender scented face oil. This is my second bottle of this stuff and I assure you, it won't be my last! To use on my face, I dispense an amount of this silicone free oil blend that is right for my skin from the dropper into the palm of my hand, rub my hands together and pat and press the oil into my skin. Sometimes I use it as my moisturizer and sometimes, I use it after I've applied all of my regular skin care to seal in moisture from my skin creams and serums and add additional softening and hydration, as my skin drinks everything in. This oil is also wonderful for my hair, my cuticles and dry elbows, knees or anywhere else a little extra softening and hydration is welcome.

Ingredients:
Organic Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil*, Organic Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed Oil, Salvia Sclarea (Clary Sage) Oil, Organic Hippophae Rhamnoides (Seabuckthorn) Fruit Oil*, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Lavandula Hybrida (Lavandin) Oil, Natural Fragrance Oils.

  11. I really want to try the Derma-E Firming DMAE Moisturizer although I do have sensitive skin and not sure how my skin would react. That said, for the price, it is still worth testing out!
