K-Beauty Brand Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum | Love It or Leave It?

K-Beauty Brand Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum | Love It or Leave It? 1

I can haz "Glass Skin?"

I freely admit and you probably already know that I am a serum junkie. Few skin care products make my little heart go pitter-pat quite like a good serum and I have a nice one from K-Beauty brand Peach & Lily to share with you all, today. Now, I am well aware that at my age, "Glass Skin" is not a reasonable expectation as my face no longer has the firmness and tension required to achieve that perfect, glassy-smooth, poreless, line free finish that typifies glass skin, as I understand it but that doesn't mean that I can't continue to strive for the smoothest, softest, most glowingly youthful looking complexion that I can possibly achieve.

my No Buy from Hell is over!

I've been perusing the Peach & Lily website, for a while and I was very interested in a handful of their house brand K-Beauty skin care but due to my extended No Buy From Hell and my frankly, lazy ass attitude about having to enter all of my info into yet another website's database, I didn't order anything for a while. A loooong torturous while! Then... I found out that Ulta Beauty is Carrying Peach & Lily skin care and since I have an established account, once my No Buy ended it was all systems go to acquire a couple of the products on my wish list and give them a whirl.

One of the products I bought is the Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum with Peach Extract and Peptide Complex.

so, what's in this stuff, anyway?

Peach extract. Oh, yeah. I'm that sucker who will go for just about anything that says it has peach in it. Peach extract, peach juice, peach essence, peach scent, peach colour... I can't resist peach. Peach extracts contain vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids that increase resilience so skin can "bounce back."

Peptides don't hurt, either. At my age, my skin needs all of the age defying actives it can get and peptides have been shown to signal collagen production in the skin to help fill fine lines, smooth the appearance of deep crease wrinkles and firm the overall appearance and feel of skin.

Niacinamide is an antioxidant that can reduce inflammation and brighten the skin.

Asian Mountain Yam Extract helps reduce flakiness. A good thing when you're a #driedoutoldhag

Madecassoide is derived from Centella Asiatica Extract that can reduce inflammation and stimulate collagen production.

Hyaluronic Acid is an hygroscopic that binds moisture to the skin's surface to increase hydration and plump and smooth the appearance of the complexion.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Propanediol, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract, Dioscorea Japonica Root Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Adenosine, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Madecassoside, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Acetyl Octapeptide-3, Ethylhexylglycerin, Hydrolyzed Corn Starch, Sodium Carbomer, Beta-Glucan, Saccharide Isomerate, Phytic Acid, Sucrose, Asiaticoside, Caprylyl Glycol.

what does it do for me?

Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum is a terrific multi-tasker that relieves dullness, dryness, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and helps my skin look and feel hydrated and soft, smooth and more "plush." This serum is an ideal layering step for dry/more mature skin types and may serve as a moisturizer for younger and more oily skin.

this serum is so easy to use

This clear, lightweight gel like serum smooths easily across my skin and drops in to get to work without feeling sticky, oily or pilling up under products I apply over it. This serum wears beautifully under sunscreen and makeup for day and boosts my night time skin care so that I wake up to a brighter, fresher looking, more glowing complexion in the morning.

love it or leave it?

Love... Like it a lot! This serum has earned a place in my skin care arsenal and I'll definitely repurchase when this bottle is finished.

where can I get it and how much does it cost?

I buy my Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum, $39.00 for 40 mL/1.35 fl oz from Ulta Beauty. This serum is also available directly from Peach & Lily.

Peach & Lily Goodies I'm also lusting after...

Peach & Lily Pure Beam Luxe Oil and Peach & Lily K-Beauty Rescue Balm. I think that my skin might enjoy these products.

I have no doubt that I'll eventually get around from shopping on the Peach & Lily site... In spite of my antipathy for all of the register my info raggle baggle, I am drawn to products that I can buy, there.

Have you tried Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum or other Peach & Lily skin care? What are your favorite products from this brand for dry/mature skin? Please enable me. I need to have enough skin care for a second Beauty fridge. /jk

Oh, yeah. I have a Beauty Fridge (insert echo, here)! Would you like to know more? I'm planning an in depth post, soon. I would have done it by now but what with two deaths in our immediate families in less than a month, my husband and I have been a little preoccupied and blogging has had to take a back seat. I am hoping that the universe is ready to back the hell off of us, for a while now and we can get back to a more normal routine and I can get back to what I love to do. *not a pity me party, just letting you know
