The Best Value Beauty Subscription Box Out There | My Boxy Charm for August Unboxing

I have the August Boxy Charm Beauty Subscription Box * to share with you, today.

what is Boxy Charm?

Boxy Charm * is a montly beauty subscription box that contains four to five full sized and the occasional bonus travel sized products that add up to a minimum of $100.00 value for only $21.00 a month, making Boxy Charm * an amazing deal. Some of the brands I have received in my boxes are Too Faced, MAC, Tarte, Wander Beauty, Peach & Lily, Becca, Butter London, Luxie and so many more. Some boxes are a home run, others, like this month's offering are a mix of items I will keep and use and items I will be sharing.

Are you curious about the products that arrived in my August box and what I think of them? Read on.

what's in the box?

There are several versions of Boxy Charm *, every month and this month, I was really happy with my version. Four of the items pleased me, muchly, the only product that didn't ring my bell is the eye shadow duo. The shades that I received are not my thing and I wouldn't use them so I left them untouched (I opened them only long enough to fire off a few fast photos then closed them back up) so that I can give them to someone who will use and enjoy them.

products that I will keep and use:

Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum - $39.00. I bought a bottle of this serum and I really, really love it. It is lightly hydrating and makes my complexion feel comfortable and plush. This is a backup bottle for me and I'm happy to have it.

Becca Hydra-Mist Set & Refresh Powder - $39.00. I have been wanting to try this powder for a while, now and I was tickled to find the shade Original, a sheer, creamy beige in my box. I haven't opened, it yet as I'm using up a powder then I'll break this one open and put it in my rotation.

Wander Beauty Glow Ahead Illuminating Face Oil - $42.00. I haven't tried this, yet as I have too many face oils open and in rotation, at the moment and I hate having too many open at once and being forced to toss them if they go bad. I am sure, tho that if this product is as nice as the other Wander Beauty products I've tried, I'm going to love this one, as well.

Steve Laurent Lip Liner * - $15.00. Mine is a soft rosy pink that I am surprisingly happy with. Usually, lip liners in sub boxes are nude and too brown for my taste. I'm keeping this one!

the one that isn't staying with me:

Ace Beaute Glimmer Shadow Duo * - $25.00. These look like nice shadows, they remind me, looking at them of Colour Pop Super Shock shadows. The colours are pretty to look at but I know that I would never use them, so I've left them untouched and will pass them along to someone who can give them a good home.

the wrap up and how to subscribe

I am really happy with my August Boxy Charm Beauty Subscription Box * - $21.00 a month. The total retail value of the version I received is $160.00. The value of the products I am keeping is $135.00. The eye shadow duo at twenty-five dollars was more than the price of the entire box, making all four of the items I decided to keep free, for me had I paid for the box.

Are you subscribed to Boxy Charm *? Did you like the August box? What were your favorite products for this month? What products didn't ring your bell? Please do tell!
