Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is a Luxe Treat For Dry Skin
my misty obsession continues!Facial mists are my favorite skin care indulgence and with no shame, I declare far and wide that I want allll of the mists! My newest obsession is the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist, a beautiful and luxe treat for dry and maturing skin but my love for this stuff is a double edged sword.
just what is it?
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is a beautifully formulated facial mist rich in Okinawa Red Algae, Squalane, Silk Extract, Green Tea and Rice that combine to deeply hydrate, calm, comfort the complexion while it restores youthful radiance and supports the skin's natural ability to retain moisture. This mist can be used as a skin care step, as a refresher and as a finishing mist, after makeup application.
beautiful packaging and a passion for giving back
Like all Tatcha products, the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is so beautifully packaged. Receiving and opening this box was a real experience. When you open the wood grain printed outer box, you will see a little bit of information about Tatcha's Beautiful Faces, Beautiful Futures, a program that as of June has helped provide 3,000,000 days of schooling for girls in Africa and Asia.
how I like to use it and what's in it
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is contained in an elegant, heavy, tall lavender ombre glass bottle that has a gold toned pump and band and a purple cap. The spray top provides a fine but overly plentiful mist that instantly bathes my dry skin in soothing, hydrating comfort. This gently scented mist works especially well for layering with essence and leaves my complexion looking radiant and dewy and feeling plumped, ultra soft and calm.
When I apply my makeup I have a tendency to use a bit too much powder and when I do, I can count on this mist to instantly settle everything down and restore a soft glow to my skin without melting or smearing my carefully applied makeup. I do suggest using this before mascara application or just cover your eyes, as the emollient nature of this mist can possibly soften and cause mascara to transfer.

the bottom line and about that double edged sword...
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist makes for an especially delicious skin care treat when it's chilled to perfection so I keep a bottle stashed in my skin care fridge. Yes, I'm still using my skin care fridge and I still love it! If you're curious about the model I have, it's features and how I like to best use it, just hit the link and check it out. In my not so humble opinion, every beauty lover needs one.
As mush as I adore the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist for all of the beautiful things it can do for my skin, unfortunately, this mist has one major drawback... Well, two actually. The sprayer uses up this mist fast! Very fast and, at $48.00 for a 1.35 fl. oz. bottle, making this gorgeous stuff a daily habit could get very expensive, very quickly. I am trying to make my first bottle last as long as I can and I did purchase a backup just because I couldn't help myself, during a recent Sephora VIB sale but I don't think that my budget can stand up to keeping it in stock, all of the time. *sigh
Have you tried the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist? What do you think of it? Please do tell.
