I'll get it all done, I always do but I'm just taking my time, this year. I guess that I want to slow down a little, really enjoy rather than go all chicken-with-my-head-cut-off-wild. Maybe that's a good thing?

The Beauty Spotlight Team | Pre Holiday Edition!

It's time for our weekly Beauty Spotlight Team, Pre Holiday Edition post. Let's get started, shall we?

Fashion Flash | Pre Holiday Edition

The holidays swiftly approach and if you celebrate and are anything like me, it's time to gear up and get ready. Confession, I've already started decorating outside. We still need to put up a couple of things, then that will be done. Then the indoor chaos begins. I think that I'm going to start with the tree, this year. I have been wanting one of those pre flocked, fancy trees with the various sized, fluffy branches and tips and I found the perfect one, during Michael's "Pre Black Friday" tree sale. Seven footer, pencil profile (perfect for condo dwellers, like us) prelit, half off. Yeah, baby! Mama's got a new Christmas tree. I can't wait to put it up and decorate it! It's going to be so pretty. Have you begun your holiday prep, yet or do you wait until after Thanksgiving or until December? Please, do tell.

This week, Fashion Flash is hosted by our fabulous Cindy over at Prime Beauty. Head on over to enjoy the best in beauty, fashion, fitness and wellness, home decor and lifestyle from savvy 40+ bloggers and podcasters.

Eight Disappointing Beauty Products that I Regret Buying

Eight Disappointing Beauty Products that I Regret Buying
Bad beauty buys; yeah, they happen to all of us. We fall for the hype, we trust reviews, we trust our own research and instincts or we make an impulse buy, thinking that we are picking up just the right thing and it backfires on us. While I don't make a lot of bad beauty buys as I am pretty familiar with what usually works well for me and I try not to buy too many items on impulse, every now and again, a product that I thought was going to be so good turns around and bites me in the ass.

In this post, I'm sharing eight beauty products that were a disappointment to me and that I regret buying. If you're curious about what beauty goodies just didn't cut it, read on.

I like to get my decorations up and a head start on my Christmas shopping and of course, November is my birthday month, which makes this time of the year just a little bit more fun for your's truly. If you have a little time, grab a warm beverage, get cozy and enjoy this Welcome November edition of Fashion Flash.
