Seven Day Black and White Photo Challenge Wrap Up

Seven Day Black and White Photo Challenge Wrap Up

There has been a fun challenge going around for a few years. The Seven Day Black and White Photo Challenge is simple; seven days, one black and white photograph of an everyday object each day. No people, no pets, no explanations. I have done this challenge, before and I usually post the photos on my personal Facebook but this time, I thought that it would be fun to do it on my Instagram and I thought that it would be fun to do a wrap up blog post about it, as well.

If you would like to see my seven photos from this challenge, please read on. In the spirit of the original challenge, I am only captioning my photographs with the day order in which they were posted.

Have you done this challenge, Gentle Reader? It is a fun creative outlet that doesn't take a lot of time and doesn't drag on, forever. If you do this challenge, please leave a link to your photos so that I can see them.

  1. I saw about half of these on FB when you posted so I'm happy to see the rest. Your icicle one is so artistic and amazing since you live in Arizona where it's rare to have an icicle. Love your photo creations.

    1. I live in Prescott. We are about... an hour and forty five minutes or so North of the valley in the foothills of the Bradshaws. Prescott is at 5000 feet and it can get cold, snow and freeze, here.

  3. Like Marcia, I saw most of your B&W photos on FB. Nicely done! When i was in college, I thought B&W photos were the only serious photographs, and though now I seldom take them, they remain my faves

    1. Thank you so much! When I was a kid, my parents were into photography and my uncle was a photographer and they all believed that B&W photos are serious pictures, colour was for fun. I happen to love shooting in colour, as that is what my eye sees and I want to shoot what I see.

I love to know what you're thinking. I dig honest discourse and lively discussion, even a good debate. I do not dig hate speech or personal attacks either against myself or my gentle readers.
