The Beauty Spotlight Team Weekly Roundup for Mid-September

Who else is totally freaking out that September is already half gone? I mean, wasn't it just the first, like, yesterday? And before we know it, October will be here and this year is going by sooo fast! I am not complaining, really because 2020 has been an epic shit show with with the pandemic and our economy hitting the skids, the West Coast burning and of course, the election cycle, right in the middle of all of it.

For the record, I don't count the marches for racial equality and justice as part of the crazy. Racial equality and justice is never crazy, it should be the norm in this country, it should be the norm, everywhere and until it is, the marches should and will, from what I can see continue. In case there is any doubt in your mind yes, I fully support Black Lives Matter and care about justice and equality for all BIPOC. I support LGBTQIA+ persons, I am rabidly pro equal rights for women and am forever pushing for a Constitutional Amendment. I have held my most cherished beliefs and causes away from my public social media profiles and this blog because I thought that was what I should do, regardless of what I wanted to do, for long enough and I'm not willing to do that, any longer. As I said in my Instagram post on June first, fuck neutrality. I am done being polite and I will NOT censor myself or remain quiet while my fellow human beings are suffering and not being heard. If you feel that personal opinions don't belong in public spaces, sorry not sorry. This is my space and I'll include in it what I please. Whew! I've wanted to write that badly composed paragraph (what paragraphs of mone aren't badly composed? 😹) for a long time.

Okay, now that we've cleared that up, how about if we get to the reason why we are all here. The Beauty Spotlight Weekly Roundup. Our bloggers have some good stuff for you, this week, including a fab giveaway so read on!

Patchology Flashpatch Rejuvenating Eye Gels, which are cruelty-free and vegan, effectively cool and de-puff the delicate area below the eyes. Lola's Secret Beauty Blog loves them because they also moisturize, soothe, refresh, minimize the appearance of dark circles and fine lines, and they leave skin luminous.
